Honestly he reminds me of a combination of Jamison/Rashard. Seems like he has all of the same ability to score inside at a high rate like Jamison did. Quick layups straight up, flip shots, floaters, post ups etc etc. His shooting is more reminiscent of Shard though with his desire to take so many from deep. I also expect his defense to resemble something similar to what Shard was doing in Orlando when he was a VERY underrated defender.
He moves more like a legit three though. |

Ya the flip shots are reminiscent of Jamison, although he was king at em. He has a lot to learn about where to look for his scoring. ..and then when to look to pass as well. I also believe he'll become a solid-good defender, he's energetic out there..closes-out great in spurts. Could have some better instincts 1v1 defending ballhandlers, but that will probably get better with time, he has good feet. Great prospect |

Jamison should work with him a few practices then. He’s there anyways for studio work. |

As others have said tired legs/rookie wall whatever you want to call it. We all know what his capabilities are. He led the summer team to a championship without BI and Lonzo. He was the MVP. The first half of the season he was playing at a high level for a rookie. A little inconsistent but mostly playing well. He was even in the conversation for rookie of the year at one point.

He is taller but more frail, he ends up on the floor several times a game. He is not more versatile, when JC locked on to creating for others he could get 5-6 assists. The problem is posters thinking that him being a JC level player is an insult, it isn’t, guys like JC are important to teams. We won’t regret drafting Kuzma.

I'm hopeful his defense improves so he can guard more positions.

Yes, an offseason of working out will benefit him much more than the exalted summer league did. He can get stronger and work on conditioning and we should see the results next season.

He should work on his body and finding balance between shooting 3s, post ups and drives.

| He found his stroke again! More arc on it again! When he got super hot right before his slump, he started taking air off the ball..but he could do that because he was just hot. In SL, PS, and early in the reg season he had more arc..looks better! This is a relief |

| You spoke too soon, man. He hit his first few and has been clanking ever since. I have absolutely no complaints about the coaching staff reining him in earlier in the season, because he absolutely has a tendency to start chucking ill-advised shots, even when he's been off. |

It's ok. I'm in the 1st Half with the DVR. As long as he found his form again it's ok, it'll start dropping more, 3 in the 1st half is a great sign. And ya he needs to find his offensive balance... |

Besides the tired legs, another issue (which may go hand in hand) is that he settles WAY too much for the outside shot. He's nowhere near as aggressive at attacking the rim as he was to begin the season, when it was actually his bread and butter since his shot was just about as cold as it is now. His main offensive skills other than shooting are his footwork and finishing touch in the paint. And in theory, it should be easier for him to drive inside now than it was before, with teams actually coached to stay in his jersey on the perimeter and close out on him. Dude really needs to change up his approach.
