They were discussing the Lakers young core, McMahon (Dallas guy) actually likes the Lakers young core, but Windhorst embarrassed himself with his take. He basically was implying that they are all busts. The hate was strong, but expected for someone who likely only watches Lebron highlights. |

A lot of the media is being paid by Nike to speak highly of lebron. Nike invested $500 million in him and they want to protect that investment. It's been going on since Nike confiscated the tape of lebron getting dunked on by some no name kid. lebron is nothing more than media hype. |

I think you have a solid point about media hype and pressure from sponsors, but I think being in the finals for what, seven years straight is a bit beyond media hype. Dude might be able to play a little.
