Idk about Ingram being better than Durant...that’s tough to predict.

He’s gonna be a hell of a player tho.

The most hilarious Lakers discussion happened on Friday’s ESPN podcast with Windhorst. They were discussing the Lakers young core, McMahon (Dallas guy) actually likes the Lakers young core, but Windhorst embarrassed himself with his take. He basically was implying that they are all busts. The hate was strong, but expected for someone who likely only watches Lebron highlights.

Windhorst is that LeBron fanboy that takes it to creep levels. Sitting in a dark room eating cheese puffs crying at every LeBron highlight. No objectivity whatsoever. Used to get really weird when he’d bash Kobe.

A lot of the media is being paid by Nike to speak highly of lebron. Nike invested $500 million in him and they want to protect that investment. It's been going on since Nike confiscated the tape of lebron getting dunked on by some no name kid. lebron is nothing more than media hype.

It’s pretty annoying. Media loves shoving him down peoples throat.

Kevin Hart too. Another one pushed by the media.

I lost it when the Kobe Maywheather comparison came up

Who knew our 2 max plan all a long was to use one of them on Kobe So many questions.

Will he suffer another injury??

Will he make Lonzo give him ice baths?

Can he get enough shots up with PG and LeBron on the team?

Can he wear his own retired number???

Media agendas have been strong, it’s why I stopped watching CNN a few years ago for news lol.

I think you have a solid point about media hype and pressure from sponsors, but I think being in the finals for what, seven years straight is a bit beyond media hype. Dude might be able to play a little.

Lebron is a fabrication of media hype? c'mon yes he is hyped up but thats because he is obviously one of the greatest players ever.

I agree, lets not get crazy LeBron has been the best player for almost 8 years Running ...some would say 10 ....but for me, until you ring at least once that clock doesnt start ...but he has argument for much longer.

Based on how all the recent lottery picks from the Lakers have turned out, I think I will be very happy if BI turned out to be like a Klay Thompson or something. I just want a star. Not necessarily a superstar.

the thing is durant said it himeslf. he admitted that BI was a better overall player than he was at that same point in his nba career. KD was a born scorer/shooter. bi can score but not shoot like that. but everything else (defense, on ball and off ball, BI can play point forward already...something KD could not do until recently.)
