I read on ESPN that Kawhi was medically cleared to return, but he went to NYC to seek a second opinion and he's the one who wants to sit out. Something doesn't sound right.

This injury is supposed to be a quadriceps strain or tear, right? And he hasn't had surgery, and this is an injury that usually takes 2 months tops to recover from, right?

ESPN just reported that Kawhi is working out at the Spurs facility and is hoping to return to the lineup sometime in March.

Honestly, if he does return in March and starts playing at even 80% of the level he played at last season, the Spurs would have a real chance of getting to the championship series (but they won't be the favorites).
