Consummate professional. Gonna miss Corey tbh. |
Wonder how much the Lakers will miss him on the court? His defensive energy was infectious and produced results. Now two high energy defenders in he and Nance moved. Will be interesting to see how the defensive stats will change going down the stretch.
Interesting comment too. I wonder if a not so veiled comment about the Deng situation. | why would you wonder about the deng situation if deng has already told you the exact same thing. so did mosgov. he loved mentoring Zu but he still thought he should start and play a lot. |

I liked Brewer. He was often a mess on offense but I always appreciated his wantingness to defend and hustle the moment he got off the bench. That set the right example for the young guys. He seemed to be a fantastic teammate. I wish him the best. |

I liked the guy as person... seemed genuinely nice... but I won't miss his 16 turnovers per 100 plays. For someone who was never a primary ballhandler that is absolutely atrocious.
It's too bad because I feel like if he ever played with intelligence and discipline that he could be a tremendous asset. But at 32 years old that's never going to happen. |

I thought about that exact possibility when Roberson went down. I think Brewer could actually help OKC which, given our interests, is kind of a bummer. But he was reportedly a solid teammate so it's more important for him to be in a good situation.
Minnesota is another destination that could make sense with Thibs style and Butler going down. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

Did he really get bought out right before Hart got injured? We could actually use him now... |

Ya he got bought out before Harts injury. He was not on the bench at the Atlanta game. |

Class act and a great attitude. Hopefully, he finds a good situation (and it doesn't muck anything up in the process for us). |

Apparently they didn’t reach a buy out agreement so he was just waived? Did anyone else read that (saw it on Twitter. I think it was Ohm who said that...) |

He should go to OKC, their bench is so thin that they really need him. I don’t think Minnesota will use him more. |

..and within hours of the departure, Hart's hand is injured. FML.
You may be right. I didn't consider Kuz a 3 but maybe we'll have to.
Digging up Deng and reanimating him might work for the 4 position as a backup to Randle, while Kuzma backs up the 3, but I worry about our bench defense even more now. Might need to stagger substitutions more. Otherwise, Ennis, Thomas, Kuzma, Deng, Zubac as a second string? Ouch. A bench like that had better better bring the firepower every night, because they're not stopping anyone.
Gonna miss Brewer more than we expected, at least for a couple weeks until Hart's back. |

Wishing him all the best, but not too good, I don't want him getting OKC over the hump and PG13 electing to stay put.....
Really good character guy, played really well, especially when we didn't have enough help at other positions.
I wonder now if Deng will get activated.... _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

One of my favorite prospects of his draft class. Thought he would become an elite 3 and D, but over time, the shot didn't translate. Instead, he added a transition element and kept defenders on his heels when attacking downhill.
Utmost professional. I wish he was able to replicate the success he had as a Houston Rocket. He gave his all on the floor and definitely a good guy in the locker room, and even worthy of that Laker jersey. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

He was a good guy and didn't deserve Luke breaking his Games-Played-Streak, I'm sure the final straw was when he could not get into a 20 point blow-out in Atlanta...
He'll be better off, he'll go to a play-off team, probably make the same or more money and hopefully he will call Deng and tell him the benefits of being bought-out! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |
