Awful list. Happy that its so Laker biased (5 out of top 6 ), but like them or not: Jordan not in Top 3 and LeBron not in Top 10 is just asinine.

I agree with 4x NBA champ John Salley on his list of top all time players. I agree that Lebron James and Michael Jordan should not be in the top five all time players. I would put many players above the corporate age of basketball with no hand checking with Lebron and Jordan.

1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar All time leading scorer Never lost a High School game, Only lost 2 NCAA games
2. Wilt Chamberlain Scored 100 points in a game
3. Bill Russell 11X Champ he won 8 rings in a row
4. Jerry West Logo Mr Clutch 14x NBA All Star
5. Magic Johnson 5x Champ 5th All Time in Assists Creator of Showtime
6. Kobe Bryant 5x Champ
7. Michael Jordan 6x Champ 4th All Time Scoring, Never lost in the Finals
8. Shaq 4x NBA Champ 8th All Time NBA Blocks
9. Larry Bird 3x NBA Champ
10. Hakeem Olajuwon 2X NBA Champ 1st All Time NBA Blocks
11. John Stockton All Time NBA Assists and NBA Steals
12. Dr J Dominated 2 Basketball leagues and created popular commercial basketball
13. Karl Malone 2nd in NBA points scored and 7th in rebounds

16. Allen Iverson
17. Elgin Baylor

I clicked on the video, and Salley didn't mentioned most of the people on this 20 person list. Is this actually just your list?

Actually his list has changed at least 4 times, that’s just trolling at this point, or an attempt of a joke, don’t know...

But from this point forward, this Jello guy is on my if you see his name on a post ignore that post list

They should really Lock This Thread

I'm all for players ranking others ahead of Jordan. But having Jordan at #13 is just crazy. Then the two guys you put ahead of him lost to him in the finals 2 years in a row!
Jordan had a far superior team around him. Don't believe the Space Jam hype...

I don't even like Space Jam.

to you it is. not to salley who actually played.

Perhaps he's giving more credit to guys with more actual SKILL whom also had to go up against similar competition at their position.

we know bron and mike for the most part did not have similar comp as their positions. Most of the star SG's were not nearly as athletic aside from drex. same with bron. KB played quite a few guys that were more athletic than him and star players at his position. this means something. Kobe played vs better teams than mike did and beat them. darn sure better teams than bron did. and bron has never won a ring without having 3 star players on the roster. kobe has done that multiple times.

Who's better Prime Pip or Lakers gasol? I'm going with pip because Pip without jordan was a superstar. gasol as much as i liked him was not a superstar with memphis, he was a bonafide allstar. but not a superstar.

Its like jordan had. shaq and Prime Ho grant and prime kukoc and dennis. kobe had prime shaq, and old horry. you guys do realize we use to get torched at the PF spot due to the fact we never had a star PF. or a very very very good prime pf on both sides of the ball.

I don't care how long you've been here. Your headline and post made it seem like this is John Salley's list. But it's just your list.

So, yeah, I hate this thread. You should remove John Salley's name from it and let your incredibly stupid list stand on its own attached only to you. It would embarrass Salley.

Guess Salley biased against MJ as he was part of dirty Pistons.

he was one of the teams that stopped mike. so there that goes. all the other guys who say mj was the greatest from his era could not defeat jordan.

think about it. if you think you're the best player and all of a sudden you find a guy on a team that you just can't beat. you would tell the world "yep, he's the best, because he beat me." because if he aint the best that brings your level down as well since you lost to him.
