Your reasons can be your own.
In listening to local radio today, it occurred to me that it's split - almost 50/50 right down the middle - between Laker fans as to whether or not they'd like to see LeBron James in purple and gold.
The poll question is NOT "Can you learn to accept it", the question is - "Do you WANT to see LeBron become a Laker?"
So, whatever the reasons you have FOR or AGAINST (money, age, development to the team, winning, losing, culture impact, the present, the future, chemistry, impacting Kobe's legacy or something else entirely...), please vote for or against. Or undecided.
Curious to know the overall consensus opinion here. _________________ "I'm like Neo out this m----- f-----," Bryant said."

Yes if he wants to come here. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Undecided, but I lean towards no. My reasons:
1) Lebron will sacrifice young assets for now. Timeline doesn’t fit and we will be like the Cavs in 2 years.
2) Age. 34 year old Lebron is a dangerous proposition.
3) PG13 and punting cap space for 2019 guys (Klay/Kawhi) is a better strategy.
I’m most worried about #1. |

Kawhi is no strategy, he will remain with the Spurs. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

So I voted undecided - I'm pretty hesitant about signing him and with it comes possibly trading the young players for another star. Also how durable will he be in the later years of his contract?
Has nothing to do with his level of play though. He's an all time great and if he was just a bit younger I'd be into the investment. _________________ Austin Reaves

What are the other options?
Preference is PG, keep Randle and 1 max slot for 2019. I'd like to build a dynasty not just a 1-2 year contender. |

Yes, if the young core remains intact.
No, if he forces the front office to dismantle the team for his short term needs. |

I have said that I believe he stays in SA, but I would still remain cap flexible if I’m the Lakers. It’s a better strategy than signing Lebron and having him start trading the young core for aging veterans and probably losing Randle in the process too.

Exactly. I really don’t want to be the Cavs in 2 years. |

The risk just outweighs the reward imo. I don’t see us beating GSW even with LeBron. Let them have their little run, sign PG keep developing the young core then it’s our time to shine. |

Our young core with all their flaws have been competing and beating the best teams in the league. We are not that far from being a contender. Just adding PG will make us a top 5 team in the West. |

At this rate of progression I’d agree with that. Maybe 6th seed
1 year better versions of Lonzo Ingram Kuzma Randle + PG .. definitely competitive playoff team imo. |

I selected No. Only because I don't want Lebron at the expense of our current young core. I really like Lonzo, Randle, Kuz, BI and Hart. Don't want Lebron at the expense of any of our young core. |

Do I want a top 3 all time talent on my team? Of course.
The ONLY scenario that would change my mind is if Leonard is a legitimate option for 2019. _________________ If Brandon Knight were to come out, I would take him number 1 in the draft. - Magic Johnson Mar 27, 2011
For all of you out there questioning Jimmer Fredette of BYU, he is the real deal. - Magic Johnson Mar 20, 2011 |

Only if he's necessary for us to get PG.
If we can get George without Lebron - then a big NO from me. |
