Plus 3 BIG steals! |
Also stepping up with 43 minutes. That’s huge given Hart/Ingram being out. |

He didn’t have control. Refs ruled that the tapping at the ball until he secured it wasn’t dribbling, but part of him stealing it, so he still had a legal dribble. It’s like when a guy receives a pass and drops the ball, he still has a legal dribble. |

It’s a reward for all the screw jobs the refs have done to the Lakers |

So what kind of contract do we think KCP is going to get? Because he's been playing great 2 way basketball since he got out of jail and he only just turned 25.
People keep talking about potentially re-signing IT, but if there's money left over I'd much rather keep KCP on some kind of reasonable deal than an aging IT. |

Weak minded.
Lets emotions rule him.
Anti-clutch.
Upgrade to Paul George would be like upgrading a 2001 Honda Civic to a Ferrari. _________________ Station where the act becomes the art of growing up. |

KCP was up and down all night. Besides his usual snafus KCP had 16 points and 9 points in a losing effort without two of our best players.
He missed a crucial layup under pressure late that really hurt. He also took a few questionable shots but so did some of the other guys. However he didn't lose the game by himself. |

KCP is fine. He's not Paul George -- no (bleep). He's a solid young player who's going to be best in a role-player type role. He's done a good job of accepting that this season for the most part and been a very valuable addition to the team outside of his prison term.
Was disappointed he didn't make the layup when he tried to force it. His mid-range heave where he assume a foul call was coming was dangerous, and I'm really not a huge fan of assuming calls. The main issue was him compounding the issue by fouling because of frustration after he didn't get the call. 2 mistakes in a few seconds, one gifting free throws to the other team. The latter mistake was the really bad one. |

He's been playing well but he's not an iso player. If you want to get KCP a shot late in the game he needs to be coming off a screen where he can catch and shoot or out of a scramble. |

Let’s be real, he’s been playing good basketball for 2 months now, he got screwed by the refs and took dumb shots, let’s not forget the quite few of games he has won us, at least he wasn’t a disaster like Thomas. |

He's been up and down all season. This should not have come as a surprise to anyone. It's still disappointing, obviously... _________________ Kobe |

I can stop imagining how good we’ll be with PG13 in his spot. |

DB's observation of KCP
Quote: | Dancing Barry wrote:
His three point shooting lately has been pretty insane. January he shot .456 from three. February was .451. So far in March it’s at .556. He went 5-10 from three tonight.
He seems to miss more on those threes where he curls at the top of the arc. That was a staple early in the season. Now, it’s a lot more catch and shoot opportunities where he’s squared up for a good, on-balance look.
The Stats: He scored 17 points on 5-11 shooting (5-10 from three, 2-2 from the line) to go with 9 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 turnover and 2 fouls in 39 minutes. |

Pretty much. Despite KCP's inability to score off the dribble I like what he brings on both ends of the floor. However, if we are able to sign PG13 then I see no need to bring him back. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |
