Of all rookies shooting at least 4 threes per game, only 3 shoot a higher percentage than Kuzma. Kuzma is also third in scoring among rookies and Simmons is number 2 in his second season. There is a lot of good to talk about. His defense is terrible but he does some good things too.
This is Ben Simmons’ first season
Maybe playing, but he was with the sixers all last season - training/learning. That’s a big advantage.
Yes that is an advantage. Randle also benefited from that. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Plus Simmons could have played 20 games last season. He was held out because of the process. Randle was legit out. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.

Ironic coming from the same fans who wanted to "ignore" Russell's first year because he spent it under Byron Scott lmao _________________ If Brandon Knight were to come out, I would take him number 1 in the draft. - Magic Johnson Mar 27, 2011

Kuzma has been getting more steals and blocks lately...good to see. He's averaging 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks in the last 11 games. That might not sound like much, but he averaged 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks prior to this stretch.

Thanks. Great to see and the more he plays a 2 way game the better his chances of starting and getting big minutes when everyone is healthy.
Kuzma played well at the 3 today, as expected. Also got some good minutes staggered at the 4.
That is what I feel Kuzma is. He can play the 3 and stagger some minutes at the 4 as well when we run certain lineups.
That's one of the reasons I wanted to see Luke try a bench lineup of
Jordan Clarkson
Josh Hart
Kyle Kuzma
Larry Nance Jr.
Ivica Zubac
But oh well..
least we know Kuzma can play the 3, which imo given his style, speed and ability has been apparent all season yet not tried till now because it had to be. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Good one for Kuzma. He has his ups and downs but generally he is playing really good considering he is rookie. Few weeks during summer with Mamba will be great for him. Also he need to work on his conditioning and strength. Will be huge piece next season.
Kyle Kuzma has said now that he loves playing the 3.. he gets to handle the ball more and take advantage more...
Yep....
Kuzma can play the 3. Been saying that all year.
Would be nice to have Nance as bench 4 with Kuz as bench 3 but oh well..
Anyway now that we all have seen Kuzma can play the 3 and he endorses it
Think we'll see Ingram at the 2 a bit now?
Still wanna see the starting lineup of
Lonzo Ball
Brandon Ingram
Kyle Kuzma
Julius Randle
Brook Lopez
Please just stop. Raise the needle off of the record. It's clearly broken. I'm sure you would love to weaken our already depleted bench that much more, but it's not going to happen. Just because Kuzma endorses playing the 3 doesn't make it his best position. He's a 4 who can take advantage of his shooting, ball handling, and quickness. At the 3 he's just another average athlete with an average handle, average shot creating ability who fire every shot he gets his hands on. Pass
You obviously don't watch Kuzma if you think his handle is average or that his athleticism is average.
If you're comparing him to LeBron or Durant probably. But average isn't where Kuzma's handle is. He's very above average.
"Just another average athlete with average shot creating and handle at the 3"
1:12 - 1:40
The chase off the three point line and the handle to get to the basket on the next play. Both at the 3.
Yep...average....
lol whatever you say.
He just has some awkward moments though trying certain moves. You can tell he has an idea of what he wants to do but sometimes he can't execute right. Once he spends the summer refining his handles and footwork we're going to see a much better and smoother Kuz.

You get the feeling that's what he wants too.
He said the reason he loves the 3 so much is because he gets to handle the ball more and do more.
So you get the feeling that is an aspect of his game he wants to really start utilizing and he feels he can do that more at the 3.
Obviously he has the moves, he just needs to continue to refine them and smooth it out at NBA speed. Where he is right now though is far advanced of small forward lottery picks like say...Josh Jackson or Justice Winslow..or Stanley Johnson.
So Kuz is in a pretty good spot. He just has to continue building upon it. No reason to think he won't. Which is a great sign. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

He seems to be catching a second wind: 14.4 points (47.5% fg, 43.5% 3p), 7.6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1 block in 36 minutes in the last 5 games.
