I think it's a mental issue. When he plays his brother or his old team, he looks quite good. And there was a recent stretch nets/okc/suns, where I felt he was coming around real strong, only to go back into a shell following trade deadline; Could be unhappy about Channing Frye acquisition? Only thing affecting his minutes is his performance.
Nonetheless, he's one player that misses Lonzo, as they had good rapport on the floor w/ good pick/pop game.
Zo will provide better spacing, ball movement and speed up the pace, which gives guys easier opportunities to score and better rhythm. |

Although it was vs Dirk, Brook played kinda physical last night. His physicality got Dirk in foul trouble and set the tone for us to start the game. I'd like to see him impose his will on teams moreso, especially in this small ball era. There aren't that many Embiids, DJordan's or KAT's out there that should be able to stop him - and he can shoot 3s.
For the right price I want Brook back beyond this season. |

Everyone seemed to be attacking Dirk last night.
If this is how the Lakers plan to play him, I don't want him back. If his role is to be a floor spacer because Randle can't learn to shoot then I'd prefer we get a real shooter or someone better than Brook at rebounding and blocking shots who can ignite our fast break.
Unfortunately, the center market is pretty slim pickings. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Dirk can barely move. BroLo still sucks for the most part. |

37 year old Gasol still only needs a few steps and dribbles to get from the 3pt line to the basket. This guy is 29 and lives in slow motion. |

I hadn't realized that he didn't have one rebound. I never expect him to have many, but zero! Almost seems impossible.
I'm an old fat guy and I would think even I could get one rebound to fall into my hands if I stumbled around the court for 35 mins.
He did come through by earning the foul and hitting both FTs for the win. So I'll give him a bit of a pass. But astounding that a 7 ft C is such a bad rebounder. |

Brook's role is so important to Jules's success IMO. He spaces the floor and gives Jules the space to operate.
On offense, Brook is the "PF" and Jules is the "C."
Put a traditional center who can't space the floor and we're back to the sad Moz/Jules, Hibbert/Jules space clogging.
I want him to return for a room exception. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Definitely worthwhile giving him a room exception offer.
Centers who can space the floor are hard to find.
But should be looking for young center for the future in a few years. |

Only somewhat "spacing" FA center is Dedmon. But he's not as proven as Brook IMO and will want more $ per year/number of years. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

So you want spacing, so you'll give him a room exception... I see what you did there _________________ Kobe |

I'll throw out a couple of names off the top of my head. Zubac and Bryant. Bryant in particular will be the epitome of a floor spacing center. _________________ Not a legend |

Both aren't ready yet for prime time basketball, especially if you're trying to woo LBJ/PG. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Not now, obviously. I'm thinking if we can hang on to Lopez another year then we've got those two prospects waiting in the wings. _________________ Not a legend |

I feel a lot more confident in short hair BroLo. He's playing like an all-star since the cut. |

Good game, Brook.
