Best part of all this I can look at every game on the schedule, and honestly say Lakers can win Every game but maybe one.

I assume the 1 is @ Golden state, no lonzo since its the 2nd night of back to back, good chance the race for first in the west will be over by the time Houston plays the lakers and they'll be resting up.

Lakers need to snap out of it, they played uninspired yesterday like the Portland loss took all the life from them (except for lonzo, no one else hustled)
If they play that way in denver, they will lose by 40.

Tonight San Antonio, and Minnesota should continue their late season collapse, keep your heads up lakers, there is still a realistic shot.

You are Correct

If we had Hart and BI I would be 100% confident in winning out. A hungry young team is no joke.

We only need to beat out three teams to get in.

Clips should just tank so they can get two Lotto picks we can pass Denver they seem to be having issues, and we play them twice. Jazz is the only team that has me worried.
lakers must beat denver both times to even have any chance to pass them since they basically have the tiebracker (vs conference record ) locked up no matter what.

Clips will fall out of the playoffs regardless since they have a terribly difficult final 16 game schedule so i'm not worried about them.

Utah is the closest record wise but they are playing better than all the other teams who are farther ahead, so passing them seems unlikely even if the lakers beat them twice. Which is why i still place my hope in passing San Antonio and Minnesota plus an outside shot at the thunder, all of them with currently a top 4 difficult schedule remaining.

The West is Tough and we've just had too many lost games by Lonzo, Brooke, BI and Hart to make up ground.

Anything over 35 wins this year is a big plus and I'd love to see them hit 39 to 41 which is a monumental leap forward for us in only 1 year.

Maybe Steph Curry will rest his bad ankle for our upcoming game? Denver now on a 2 game losing streak.

Gotta pass Denver, they win the tiebreaker so today's a must win. This game tonight is huge, especially for the morale of the team moving forward, a loss will probably end any thought of playoffs in the players minds. .

They only got a shot at beating the Warriors if Ingram is back by then and Curry is still out.

Playoffs or not, but I gotta say, this year's team has been very very very fun to watch. But it would be more fun in the playoffs.

The FO has created a roster that has the fan base excited... can’t ask for anything more, if BI comes back soon I still like our chances of getting 40-42 wins

40 wins will feel like the Lakers made the playoffs, especially when you factor in:

a) the age of the young core
b) how long Lonzo was out
c) the ugly 9 game losing streak in which they lost some very winnable games
d) bad rotations early in the year that cost them a few games

Not completely dead yet, They can still make it if they only lose twice the rest of the way. Extremely unlikely. But fat lady hasn't sang yet. Must beat Cleveland, Denver and Golden State, only then will they have an outside shot. Hopefully Ingram returns soon cause without him it definately is dead.

Missing Hart and Ingram at once is also killer

No doubt. I thought about including Hart/Ingram but if Ingram is back by the Denver game it will soften that blow.

the most inexcusable item in my opinion....win 3 of those games, and we are currently a playoff threat

Yeah, I forget exact games but the Memphis and Charlotte games at home were particularly unacceptable. There were a couple of other games too.

What sucks is that we were basically pushed out of the playoff race by losses to Portland and Denver, games we should have won.

yea man, all good tho. Part of the growth is to close games. Be it a better BI/Lonzo/Kuz/Randle or PG or LAbron, we gonna be better next season.

I could easily see us going 10-6 to get to 40 wins, which would be a tremendous success (feels yucky saying that about the Lakers but context is everything).

I'm almost possible they are going to be able to dodge Curry yet again. The Warriors are not going to want to rush him back.

Its really not that impossible the blazers and nuggets game hurt a lot. We play denver tuesday we win we are 5 6 back of them? I believe we will catch clipps there schedule is brutal. We play utah twice. We just have to dominate and hope utah and denver collapse.
