Everyone is saying the same thing but I like Bill Oram’s version best. Phew is right! 😅
The Lakers say Josh Hart's hand surgery was successful -- phew -- and that he is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

A Trudell Perspective
Luke Walton went with an 8-man rotation in Miami. We’ll see how that develops moving forward, especially if Brandon Ingram (hip flexor strain) misses any time, as LAL are now pretty thin on the wing. One thing we know: Kyle Kuzma is likely to play more 3 now.

I guess I have to do a Daily Brandon now dammit
Per Trudell
LAL will be without Brandon Ingram tonight in San Antonio. He suffered the L hip flexor strain in the final minutes of LAL’s win in Miami and it’s still bothering him. Expect more minutes from Kyle Kuzma at the 3. LAL are already shorthanded on the wing with Josh Hart also out.

Brandon Ingram will have an MRI on his hip flexor tomorrow when the team is back in Los Angeles. The original diagnosis was a hip flexor strain, which occurred with 4:02 left in the 4th Q in Miami when Justice Winslow received a technical after a hard foul on Ingram.

3/5/18 vs Portland Trailblazers
I was waiting to hear anything on Channing Frye and I did not so that means the injury list stays the same.

so... TD - isn't Ennis out with two broken ankles? Portland's TV crew replayed the grizzly scene about 50,000 times last night.
(Edit - j/k for anyone who didn't watch the game) |

G League Report
GOATRUSO IS BACK!
Per Bres
Alex Caruso will suit up for the Lakers tonight vs. Orlando.
It will be his 42nd day of NBA service out of the 45 maximum allowed for players on two-way contracts.

I’m hoping that this is to do with Ennis and not concern over Lonzo’s knee acting up... |

So far nothing is being said about Lonzo, which is a good thing |

3/9/18 vs Denver Nuggets
Per Trudell
Luke Walton said Brandon Ingram (groin strain) told him he’s feeling a bit better, but there’s been no discussion about when he’ll return. Ingram will be evaluated over the weekend and we’ll have a better idea how long he’ll be out.

Thusly Brandon, Channing and Josh are all still OUT
Go Lakers!

I keep checking, but everyone definitely seems to have taken the weekend off. All I've learned about so far is the burgeoning sports careers of Emplay's daughters
So in the even that anyone ever posts an update of any kind, I will update this thread. |

Ingram is officially out for tonight’s game. He’ll be evaluated by team doctors at the arena to see when he might be expected to return. |

Thank you, sir. I’ll also add that CaruGOAT after dominating in last night’s GLeague game will be joining the squad tonight. |
