Why are you even comparing them to begin with? They're both on our team.

Yeah that is essentially the beauty of having 2 good young players

Because that is what discussion forums are for. Nothing wrong with comparing guys on our own team.

I'll take Ball overall, but I'm glad to have both. and Jules

I've been hot and cold, but his improvement this year has squashed all doubts.

It's a shame both Ingram and Ball both got hurt in the middle of them rolling.

I do like how they give the opponents different looks. Gotta figure out how defend Mr. Fantastic and the Juggernaut.

I agree, he's an impact player now, and for the rest of his career.

I expect another week or two of "he says he feels good/he looked good today." To build hype, followed by "he's not cleared to play tonight" followed by "were not rushing him." On rinse/repeat despite the fact they already know how long they're likely keeping him out.

So what's going on with him? Was he evaluated? All I've heard was "he's feeling better".

I read on twitter that we won’t know his status until pregame

This pretty much, but I’ve been more hot and cold on Randle.

Ingram provides a steadying presence out there that’s surely missed

I'm glad we have about 3-4 guys to argue over who is our best prospect seemingly every other week.

On a side note, the KD comparisons are really unfair. He was the original unicorn, a dynamic two way Kobe archetype with 5 extra inches of height. If anything BI's playing style is closer to Lebron being primarily a slasher and playmaker, but he's gonna need to develop a protein fetish before he can even sniff those levels of play.

I doubt he plays until next Friday at earliest.

Just going off how cautious they are with the young guys. It’s at the expense of winning a couple of more games but that seems to be their philosophy for this season.

On March 5 they said he would be evaluated in about a week, so that should happen in the next couple of days. He won’t play tonight, he hasn’t been checked out.

Maybe the diagnosis is so minor that they probably know about it and aren’t in a hurry to put the re-evaluation status to the public, if he was gonna be out for a while one would assume someone would say it by now.

How would they know that if he hasn’t been re-evaluated? Which he hasn’t been.

They said it will happen over the weekend, we should know at some point during pregame

Ingram is officially out for tonight’s game. He’ll be evaluated by team doctors at the arena to see when he might be expected to return.

I don't understand why they handle the reporting of injuries the way that they do. Seems like this would be a good under-promise/over-deliver situation. Tell fans that you think it's gonna be a 3-4 week injury, re-evaluate him in 1, and then everyone's happy if he's back in 2-3 weeks.
