Rex Tillerson's top aide, Steve Goldstein, was also fired this morning for "contradicting" the White House timeline of Tillerson's ouster, officials confirm. |
Vindictive bastards. Trump people were trying to say Tillerson was notified and Tillerson aide told the media the truth. So they fired him. |
BTW, I'll give you three guesses who was in charge of the State Department program to try and stop foreign sponsored propaganda.
Here's a hint: it rhymes with sleeve moldspleen. |

The truth still unclear, but amazing AP report: State officials say Tillerson did receive a call Friday, from John Kelly - but it was only to tell him "there might be a presidential tweet that would concern him." |

Tillerson speaking:
Tillerson will technically be in place to transition out until March 31st.
Talked to President at noon today from Air Force Once.
Reminds colleagues and others in government that their allegiance is to the Constitution.
Self congratulatory hoo hah for change in US global diplomatic strategy.
U.S. must respond to troubling actions of Russian government. Should Russia continue, they will continue to be isolated.
Will return to private life.
God bless America. |

Sanctions are why they picked Trump
Trump Tower Hotel in Moscow
Fell through because Putin attacked Crimea and Ukraine
Obama sanctioned Russia
Sanctions put hotel on hold
Out political system is a really really terribly run system
Maybe one politician didn't vote for Sanctions
President has power to deny them all? |

I think Russia helped create these people
How did these Republicans have a Benghazi gate for a hundred years
Yet right before special elections they tell a huge lie to everyone to save our Traitor President
I don't understand life
Nobody can protect us from Putin? |

If Manafort has anything on Teflon Don he's gonna give it up. He's 68. Any time in jail is to much for a person that age.
Judge: Paul Manafort faces ‘very real possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison'
LINK
Quote: | Manafort was hit with a new indictment from Mueller’s team last month in the Eastern District of Virginia, and pleaded not guilty to 18 charges, including bank fraud and tax evasion, last week.
“Given the nature of the charges against the defendant and the apparent weight of the evidence against him, defendant faces the very real possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison,” wrote Ellis.
As he awaits the trial in Virginia to begin, Manafort will be subject to a “24-hour-a day lock-down” at his home in Alexandria, Va., except for medical necessities and appointments, court appearances and other activities approved by the court, including meeting with his counsel and attending church. Manafort must also obtain permission to do any of these activities two days in advance. |
Side note: Does anyone know why Trump has white circles around his eyes. Can't his makeup person darken the white spots? Does he have to keep his eyes closed for some reason? _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Someone said Trump wanted to fire Tillerson last Friday, while he was still in Africa. So possibly he would have to find his own way home, remember how Trump was furious that Comey caught a govt plane back from being fired while in CA? But Kelly convinced Trump to wait until the SOS was back in the US. Trump was still too much of a coward to tell Tillerson to his face. Petty, small, vindictive and weak man our POTUS is. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

So there are also rumors Trump is about to fire McMaster and others he doesn't feel are sufficiently loyal to him personally. Maggie Haberman at the NYT says his rally gave him the feeling that he wants a return to his "Let Trump be Trump" days. Just do what he wants and not let people tell him what to do.
Sadly, because the GOP congress has rubber stamped everything Trump wants and won't impose congressional checks and balances (Trump has paid no price for not imposing Russian sanctions), Trump is left feeling his oats and will give in more and more to his authoritarian impulses. He could try to fire Sessions, then install a loyalist and order them to fire Mueller.
There are no adults left to tell him "no." Everyone in the White House, Cabinet and Congress (except maybe for McCain, Flake and Corker on rare occasions) goes completely mum with each and every crazy, corrupt move he makes.
Only Mueller and some of the judiciary have checked him so far.
Now, only a huge blue wave in November can even begin to constrain some of this ridiculousness. |

This is true. It's shameful how and why our elected officials disregard the reason they were elected to office.
Trump has been and will be Trump. What he's done is uncover the greed and self help of those in office. That's very alarming. It seems to allow Donald will get his way most times. That's a frightening thought. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Here's my working theory: Trump had some bad plastic surgery on his face. Clearly, he's had some sort of work done on his face, if you just look at his facial features now as compared to, say, 15-20 years ago. And I think it's a rare occurrence, but I think the surgery somehow took the pigment away from his face and his face is now white as a ghost. Look up pictures of Joan Van Ark before and after plastic surgery, and her face had that white effect as well. So I wonder if Trump has his face spray-tanned--which would explain why sometimes it looks more tan than at other times--and they can't completely get it around the eyes, which accounts for the little bit of whiteness there. |

Now Lamb up by 1,132 with 95% in. They are saying absentee ballots are still being counted, and might take 2 more hours before they finalize all of that. |
