If they were currently in the playoffs I would maybe be okay with their trying to manufacture some sort of "rivalry" .. but they're on the outside looking in right now lol.

I will say though - they have a talented team. Jokic, Murray (love him or hate him) and Harris are a nice trio to build around.

Meh...high floor, low ceiling. Classic treadmill team.

Our team has a much higher ceiling.

They're almost as dislike-able as the JR/Birdman/Kenyon era Thuggets.

Someone with that organization should have a talk with Jokic...he’s too good of a player to be flopping all over the court.

then you realize that the nuggets traded away rudy gobert and donovan mitchell for trey lyles, a second round pick, and cash.

the jazz would have no future as a franchise if not for the nuggets stupidity.

Jokic is an amazing offensive talent, but very poor defensively, which will be a problem for them unless you surround him with DPOY talent...

That win was so fun on so many levels.

The steal from Murray by KCP, to RANDLE - SLAM!

And a little repeat of Murray's (bleep) talk from Randle right back at him on the way back up the court.

Jokic attempting a shoulder pulling Jerkic move on JR, followed by a love tap back from Randle, a fake flop in reaction, no bite from the Refs, and Julius with some serious barking back at Jokic.

IT just killing Jokic on that fake and drive straight to the hoop.

The crowd with "Murray sucks" chants - LOUDLY!!

And to top it all off, as the game ends, IT skip passing the ball straight into Murray's hands for the final seconds - whachya gonna do now chump?

Daaannng that was a satisfying win. Denver humiliated, moved down a notch to outside the playoff ladder, and a long offseason with no chance at redemption against a team that's gonna be too badass to mess with next time they meet.

Murray has moxy. As long as he doesn't pout and mope when the backlash comes back to darken his own doorstep, more power. He's a silly foo, but like I said. I'd have a bigger problem if he was gonna get all butthurt about being called on it. Thomas tossed him the ball, but he seemed to know how to pretend not to be affected by it (or maybe he really isn't). I do know he's pretty safe doing that stuff in today's league as Stuart said. Opponents still don't like that stuff, but he's not gonna get a collapsed lung from Big Drew for it. He was born at the right time to suit his personality.

I blame Mike Malone for it. He comes across like he's all sorry and embarrassed about Murray's crap in the final secs of wins, but he did it the second time. After LA gave the Nuggs' a bunch of show-ups back, I didn't notice Malone going over to shake Walton's hand.

If Mike were really miffed at Murray, then Jamal wouldn't be acting silly at this point in the year. Maybe they think it's funny in their locker room, but if I were a coach, I wouldn't want some snotnose youngster on my team providing ANY opponent with extra fuel to make them play with that much more intensity than they might have without it. He must be under the assumption that Murray needs to act cocky because he plays his best that way. So be it if that's the case, but you'll never sneak up on an opponent if you have a rook/soph who intentionally bumps into the other team's coach. Players take that as a collective diss if they like their coach. Even when he dribbled around Zo, I don't think there was the same lust to beat them. That's why I don't buy his contrition act. If he didn't want to risk one or more guaranteed dogfights against a Western opponent who's clearly ascending, no way would Murray be acting like Ray Ray.

I remember that one. WOW. Barrea left a dent in the floor.

Also, there is so much turnaround on teams nowadays its hard to develop rivalries anymore. No matter what I've always disliked the Nugs teams throughout the years so this was a great win for us and was a super fun 2nd half to watch.
