I'm also thinking that nobody here would trade Randle to Golden State for Draymond Green and go "we've definitely got the better player".

Randle is far far far ahead of Draymond at the same age. The fact there's even competition as to who's the better defender says a lot about where Randle is 5 years younger than Draymond.

For the longest time, I wondered if you were secretly Randle's wife.

All jokes aside, you've been right about him. I wouldn't trade him for Draymond, and I would re-sign him even at the expense of LeBron, and this is coming from someone who wasn't big on Randle at the beginning of the season. His ability to finish and his flashes on the defensive end have sold me.

All this time I thought MJST was a Lin fan who got tired of changing teams and decided to become Randle's "Minion". But the sign up month make more sense for Randle than Lin. MJST was probably a Randle fan coming into LG. Am I right my dude?

Been a Lakers fan since 87 when my dad had me on his shoulders as a baby watching Magic

You were right about Lin. (He played well at Charlotte and Brooklyn until he got injured)

You were right about Randle (I was wrong)

You are right about IT

It's hard going against a mob... keep up the good fight.

Very cool MJST!

He's still shooting 50% from the field tonight.

The entire team is just playing sloppily for whatever reason.

Stephen A is onto to something. I think we need to start paying attention.

When it comes to the Lakers, we’ve talked about Kuzma, @ZO2_ , etc. Has anyone paid attention to what Julius Randle is doing? Averaged 15 in January, 19 in February. It’s up to 22 in March. This young brother is BALLING. Just so y’all know.

Ya know, I'm not sure... let me go check the previous 1,383 pages of this thread to find out. ;-P

People in the national media have been going out of their way to show just how little they've been paying attention to Julius. They're still making those stupid Zach Randolph comparisons and pushing that narrative about Julius struggling the first half of the season.

In the last 18 games Randle has played 30 or more minutes (34 average minutes in those 18 games): 22.4PPG/10.6RPG/4.0APG/ on 161 for 262 FG's about 61%...

PLUS A TEAM RECORD OF 12-6 IN THOSE 18 GAMES....

It’s like Luke said, everyone in the league knows what Julius is doing.

I really liked the 7 offensive boards and suffocating defense down the stretch

Played like a beast the 1st quarter, like a total idiot in the 2nd and 3rd, but came back BIG in the 4th.

And way to go on Jokic! You made him your (bleep) tonight!

He's consistently getting double and triple teamed these days. His next evolution is anticipating those even more and making the pass proactively instead of reactively. He still forces the issue a bit too much, but that's all mental. Randle is going to get even better as times goes on as he refines his ability to recognize situations and, of course, as he improves his jumper.

Also of note - he had a fade away in the lane against Milsap early in the game. That was his bread and butter early last year. Hadn't really seen him go back to that in like almost a year.

JR is more like a prime time "Shaq" in the last 2 games.... 31-14/5 on 25-35FG's about 71%... JR more like a baby Shaq than Randolph...
