The way some of you treat IT reminds me of how Tommy treats that whore in Peaky Blinders.

Disrespect and you will regret...

We gotta keep thomas.

Randle/Thomas/Lopez/George offseason is the ideal one imo

There is simply no way Klay is leaving and I doubt KL will either.

Are you suggesting that the team just punt away its cap space this offseason? I highly doubt Magic and Pelinka plan to do that.

I don't doubt that they would but I also think they have IT as one for f their back up plans.

Passing the ball to Murray was brilliant

He's coming around slowly, if his market is completely toasted from how he played the rest of the year I think he could be still be here next year. I still don't think teams are going to be throwing money at him this summer.

I hope so anyway cause I kind of liked him anyway but especially so after last night.

IT was in King of the fourth mode last night.

Jokic is just so bad defensively. IT feasted.

The summer will take care of itself. Lakers aren’t exactly hiding their lbj/pg13 plan but he remains a viable backup plan IMO for at least a one year deal. Really enjoying what he brings to the table and a glimpse of what a high usage finisher looks like with this young core.

Good to see our consensus is moving away from Lebron and into signing PG and retaining our current team.

I don’t think the consensus is moving bc most or want either LBJ or a 2nd max FA. Signing IT long term prevents that and it’s the clear goal of the FO.

I’m certainly enjoying the IT experience this short stretch though.

In that I'd agree, I think giving a large 3 year+ deal to IT this offseason would be a huge gamble. But a large 1+1 stopgap that can help retain our cap flexibility going forward? Sign me up now.

I want IT back, I love this dude. Don't even care that he's physically incapable of doing anything on defense, this team has taken on his (and Randle's of course) personality and its fantastic.

See my Plan B/C. I'm 100% ok with IT coming back under those circumstances on a 1 year deal. I totally see how he helps. But in constructing a championship roster, I don't see him as a long term fit given his age, possible hip issue.

No, because he's not from LA or played at UCLA. Now that Shabazz Muhammed... 😂
