It's just amazing remembering how down we all were at points earlier in the season. This place was so depressing, and for good reason. There was little to be happy or hopeful about during the 9-game losing streak, and even hoping/suggesting that we could somehow still get to 25-30 wins would be met with ridicule. Playing .500 ball or close to it the rest of the season didn't seem like anywhere near a possibility. And now here we are, with a decent shot (I think) at 40 wins or even an overall .500 record. I know that's ambitious, but that's how well they've played since January and it should be the goal at this point.
What a rollercoaster ride of a season... |
