Pelicans win. They are 39-28. This night is going perfectly. A Cavs loss and a Lakers win would be cherry on the top.

As much as I want a Cavs loss, they're playing the Suns... the freaking Suns. They have a habit of losing BIG to the "upper echelon" teams. At least Booker & Warren are playing tonight (and Portland plays CLE on Thursday, so that should be fun).

Lue pulled JR Smith via text message before tonight's game in favor of Korver, has apparently said Hood takes over for Korver when he's healthy and just brought 2-way contract player John Holland in at SG off the bench ahead of Smith.

Getting deep up on the Cavs......

Spero ate his lunch. Went to the Knicks after LA iirc. Sutherland wasn't great but was underrated. Can't follow Chick and look good. Myers was great for about 6 quarters before starting to work on your nerves. Billy Mac is more of a cheerleader and thank you gift to Stu.

Sorry for straying off-topic, but where the heck is Spero now? He wanted to work with CBS for football games as well, but now he's not even on the Knicks.

Per wikipedia, "As of 2017, he now calls games with Adam Archuleta as the #6 announcing team for the NFL on CBS." #6? I guess he's playing the long game and will be on the #1 or 2 NFL broadcast team in about a decade or so...

You and me both. Luckily, he normally calls a lot of the Summer League games so I make sure to catch whatever games he's calling.

Joel Myers and Doris Burke are two that I could listen to all day.

After Nuggets win (3/13)

#11 Lakers 31-36 .463, 15 games remaining. 5.5 games behind the #10 Nugz (37-31 .544) & 6.5 games behind #8 Utah

If the Lakers finish out their remaining 15 games at the current rate of .463, that would translate into 6.945 more wins - for an overall record of about 38 wins

Lakers lottery balls (pick goes to Philly): pretty much the same as it's been the last few games. We have a better record then every non-playoff team in the east, and the 11th best record in the West. So, our pick is currently 12th

Cavs pick watch: Cavs are currently 4th in the East, and are tied with the Pels for either the 7th/8th best record. The Cavs .582 record is also only .002 ahead of the .580 Wolves.

OKC has the toughest schedule left, with the Spurs and Clippers right behind them. The Nuggets schedule is not too easy as well.

I still holding on to hope

So glad we kept the #2 pick last year and in the process our 1st in 2019. If Cleveland struggles and that pick falls to 18-22 that’s a big win for us. I see us as giving up the 12th pick to Philly. Good scouting can make up the Position we lost.

Mark Medina's tweet regarding tomorrow night's game.

Quote:
Lots of players out tomorrow vs. Lakers: Curry (right ankle), Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness), David West (right arm cyst) & Patrick McCaw (left wrist). Klay Thompson (sprained right thumb) questionable. Iguodala (left wrist) & Bell (right ankle sprain): probable

Hmmmm.....this is interesting.

If ALL those guys miss tomorrow...then our only hurdle is Durant.

Sweet, so we only have to worry about Klay Thompson and Kevin (bleep) Durant

That team is so unfair

Tank Wednesday, or Wanksday, if you will

Bucks @ Magic, Heat at Kings: Sooner the Bucks & Heat clinch, the sooner DET & CHA shut down.

Wiz @ Celtics: Washington looking to rebound after the Minny home loss, Celtics are pretty much set at #2 and they're starting to rest. I'd expect a Wiz win. Winzday, if you will.

Lakers @ Kevin Durant & Friends: C'mon guys, get your annual win against this Warriors "dynasty". You've played them so close in the previous 3 games...

We have to bury them early. The last time they had several injuries, it became the Durant show.

Nobody on this team can really slow down Durant. Just hope he misses.

Allow me to retract my earlier comment about where in the world is Spero Dedes: https://twitter.com/ROSGO21/status/973685952437719040

Looking good with that beard and looks primed to be a CBS top play-by-play guy, but it'd be really nice if Bill & Stu retire and Lakers give him the top spot. If Mike Breen can do Knicks & ABC, Spero can do Lakers & CBS.

Back on topic, Klay is out tonight too. I DON'T WANT TO GET MY HOPES UP, but a win at Golden State would make me sooo happy, no matter who is wearing the Warrior uniforms.

Randle and IT are both getting 40 tonight. Lakers are going to win this game.

Hopefully.

Too bad BI is still out. I’d feel good about winning if he was playing.

Lonzo dropping a triple double would also help.

Maybe Travis Wear has the game of his life tonight and goes 8-10 from 3.
