Kuz clutch again. Sadly, as usual, doesn’t get the ball back for a chance to clinch it.

(bleep) vets like IT losing us the damn games.

I was losing faith a few weeks ago. I was worried he would become a 6'9" JC. He's proving me wrong once again!

Kyle Kuzma's go-ahead 3 gives him 132 on the season — most 3-pointers by any rookie in franchise history.

Congrats Kuz! And we still have 13 games to to go. He is going to shatter that record.

Rookies who have made 100+ 3 pointers in the last ten years:

2017-18 (still ongoing)
Mitchell 158 (avg would make 187)
Kuzma 132 (avg would make 158)
Markkanen 123
Bogdanovic 112

2016-17
Hield 148
Murray 115
Saric 115

2015-16
Russell 130

2014-15
None

2013-14
Hardaway jr 130
Burke 111

2012-13
Lillard 185 (#1 all time)

2011-12
Klay 111
Knight 105

2010-11
Neal 129
Wes Johnson 103

2009-10
Curry 166 (#2 all time)
Jennings 145
Thornton 117

2008-09
Fernandez 159 (#3 all time)
Mayo 145
Gordon 131
Charmers 114
Augustine 108

Mitchell on pace to become #1 all time. Kuzma one minor hot streak from being top three or four all time.

Oh damn. Wes Johnson had almost as many threes as Klay.

Good individual game by Kuz tonight. 25 points on 9 of 16 FG’s and 3 of 9 3’s (4 of 5 FT’s), plus 7 boards.

He made some shots tonight in people's grill using that quick release. Best shooting I've seen in awhile. I mean I've seen him hit option shots. But a lot shots tonight were defended. That's a glimpse of his next level stuff.

Loving how Kuzma is showing his ability to play the 3.

That bench lineup would have been fire if Luke had caught onto that sooner.

But I think Kuzma could be our starting 3 going forward, and I think that Ingram and Ball can play the 1 and the 2 tbh.

Ball and Ingram can trade ball handling duties thus being able to utilize the other off-ball as well.

So I'd like to see the closing season starting lineup of

Lonzo Ball
Brandon Ingram
Kyle Kuzma
Julius Randle
Brook Lopez

Bench:
Isaiah Thomas
Josh Hart
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Travis Wear/Thomas Bryant
Ivica Zubac / Thomas Bryant
