One of the top if not the top in Showtime hasn't gotten love since 2012? Damn. Homeland has always been great. Yesterday's episode was bonkers.

With Brody gone, it was no longer the same show. I barely stuck around for another season, but then lost interest.

It went downhill for a year or so after Brody, and then reorganized itself fairly well.

The best thing they did for the show was kill off Brody IMO. He made Carrie look weak and pathetic. He was great in Season 1 as the hidden assassin but his return in seasons 2 & 3 were non-nonsensical to me and that's when I almost gave up on the show.

I really enjoy Homeland except for that odd period when Brody was captured and drugged in Venezuela or whatever. Real weird and boring.

Its my second favorite Showtime series. For me, the best is Billions. Loved Season 1 and waiting a few episodes in before watching season 2 but I'm preparing for disappointment there. Sigh.

Me as well. I had no idea it was still on.

It kinda gets lame after that. But so far, I'm really enjoying season 6.

Yeah, it foundered around for a bit, but found itself the last little while. Last season was strong.

I always liked Quinn, but I hope he can return to being a valuable player, but the old Quinn is still locked inside there somewhere...

Is it something you can pick back up by skipping 3-5?

Ehhh, I'd watch season 5 but you could. Something happens to Quinn in season 5, but they actually explain it briefly again in season 6.

I'm liking S6 over S5.
Quinn's current journey of redeemability is awesome to me. Great twist two episodes ago. And this last ep with Quinn at the house was exciting.

Amazing season. Give Ruper Friend an Emmy or at least a nomination.

Looks like King Ecbert (Linus Roache) got killed off last season on Vikings just in time to reemerge on next season's Homeland....

Hated to see Quin go, but I also hated to see him like that and Saul can't be locked up for too long, him & Carrie carry the show. I hope that ALL of next season is not consumed with the wacky President, perhaps something will happen terrorist-wise that will make her put Saul and Carrie back in play...

Overall it was a great season, but I felt the Finale could have been better...!

Really enjoyed last season and how it ended. Last night's season premiere was a good follow-up on that story. Can't wait to see where they take it this season.
