No they aren't. They feel like he's making small errors that are costing the team.
Stuff like playing Frye over Wear.
Neither is A-list talent. But one obviously deserves to play over the other, and it makes no sense for one to be playing at all given the circumstances.
Wear earned his chance.
Wear played good defense.
Wear was hitting threes.
Wear has chemistry with the team and we had a good thing going.
Frye sucked in Cleveland.
Frye is coming off sickness, injury.
Frye has no chemistry with the team whatsoever.
IT doesn't take a rocket scientist to gather who SHOULD be getting the minutes. Luke chose the opposite. He deserves criticism for it. |
Read some of the posts on the last two pages. You're one of the few criticizing actual decisions he made and backing it up. Otherwise, it's just a mindless (bleep) fest of people looking to point fingers because they're mad that we're losing, as if Luke is the ONLY reason why. |

FYI: Wear played 31 minutes with the SB lakers in OKC Saturday night. He was probably pretty tired by Sunday. Therefore Luke went with Frye. |

they have to play Frye some, he's a free agent so they'll have to make a decision on him after the season. He doesn't look like he has anything left... but there's only a few games left and they have to take a look at him. |

Some people can't be reasoned with. Especially guys like MJST who made their mind up about Luke long before he was signed. |

Do they need to play Frye to see whether or no they're bringing him back? How about not outplaying Wear and earning minutes over him? That's kind of a sign too.
That would be like saying "The Lakers need to play Deng so they can decide whether or not they want to extend him further." _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

His shot was off during warm ups. That might explain why. |

Luke deserves a lot of credit for keeping this team competitive that’s all I’ll say. |

Games Missed
Jules - Zero
Kuz - 2
KCP - 8
BroLo - 8
Ingram - 19
Zo - 26
Hart - 19
IT - 10 of 27
Nance - 11 before the Trade
Clarkson - Zero before the Trade
103 games lost between 8 key players, 21 Different Starting Lineups, 10 new players this season, lost 2 key bench players mid season, young team...still going to get to the anticipated goal of 35 to 36 wins which is a +9 over the previous +9 and this time with the core doing the heavy lifting.
Could have started Jules earlier, but he did keep Jules dialed in all season. Could have made some better decisions here and there towards the end of close games. But given the amount of multiple injuries at the same time and how much it's affected our regular rotations...35 to 36 wins is a good stepping stone for next year which should be playoffs even if we add no one of significance and only retain Jules.
Solid B+ to A- type job with a bunch of kids.
And I count 10 games that we gave away in the 4th or OT...best this team could be is 44-34 at this point, but in reality we were some injuries and backup guard depth away from being 500...that's pretty incredible with such a young team and so much roster turnover in 1 calendar year. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

A lot of people are reactionary and want to make sure everyone knows they know better than the coach.
Luke's an easy target -- he makes a questionable decision lineup wise in someone's opinion, and it gets extrapolated and lots of assumptions are made.
People should be questioning his decisions. That can create interesting/thoughtful discussion. It's just annoying how self-righteous people are about it, though, and how unwilling some are to examine the possibility that Luke is doing things with forethought and reasoning. |

Luke definitely has his blunders, but I've been thinking recently just how hard it is to be an NBA coach, all the little nuances and items to manage...if I had to manage lineups in a real game my head would be spinning. |
