Any conspiracy theorist out there? Always curious to hear their different takes on this, JFK, etc.
Yeah. Not sure. Kind of crazy that he probably had so many terroristic threats on his life and it was that one opportune moment someone actually assassinated him. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

i love Jesse Ventura's theory of these assassins were complete failures at life but was perfect in killing people. Funny how all these guys were tracked by the FBI. Then they end up dead. POOF

The MLK and JFK assassinations attract so many conspiracy theories in part because there was a lot of unknown and unknowable stuff going on around both men, but also because it is so hard to fathom putting the death of huge historical figures down to such pathetic lowlifes. Wouldn't doubt both men had some help and encouragement of one form or another, but the idea of a large government conspiracy that has held up over time is kind of silly. _________________ “We must always take sides. Lincoln, JFK, Bobby Kennedy and MLK all were bonded by a common thread, racism.
I find it difficult to tie government to their deaths but don't rule it out. Not government the institution but government officials having knowledge, being complicit. The stories about Hoover are hard to discount.
MLK was dangerous not only for his efforts to unit Blacks but for trying to unit minorities. His message was strong and encompassing.
I again refer to the banner at the baseball game in Fenway Park. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.
Saw this old interview footage going around yesterday. I've really only experienced him through his speeches. It's great to watch him speak in a conversational manner.
