Khabib vs TBD (They're looking into Anthony Pettis as a replacement since he's trained up and also has nobody to fight)
Rose vs. Joanna
Kattar/Moicano
Bochniak/Magomedsharipov
Felder/Iaquinta _________________ We back. |

This has got to be the biggest cluster in combat sports history!
Khabib and Pettis (if it happens) will literally be winging it against each other lol.
And Khabib won't get as much credit for a win.
At least T-City will still get his title shot against Max though. If Holloway had pulled off the upset he would have been next in line for McGregor for sure |

I would have loved to see T-City against Khabib too but Max had first refusal rights on this one. Too bad it turned out this way. Max is a warrior and I've really taken to him in all this but still, I'm going to have a hard time choosing a side when he matches up with Ortega.
Khabib is in a win-win here too. He's got mad following and they don't really care who he bludgeons so they'll gladly ante up and enjoy the night.
A Khabib/McG fight is going to be an absolute mess. It'll make the old Raider/Rams games look like a warmup. _________________ We back. |

Agreed on all of this!
And as to the bolded I wouldn't come within 10 miles of wherever that fight is going to be held.
Not only do you have Khabib vs McG
you have their crews vs each other
then you have the Irish vs the Russians
I will watch safely from the comfort of my TV |

That's precisely the part I was referring to.
Not to mention, you'll have some Russian/Irish mob action in on it too.

Yup! Would not at all be surprised to hear about someone getting killed in events surrounding the fight |

"Notorious Gangster" is probably a nickname that's going to be reevaluated by the company, I'm sure.
Although there is money to be made from all this. And, we're talking TONS. There will probably be a press conference to address the fecal storm and then the megafight hype will continue with a blaze. Heard that there was supposed to be a faceoff following the main event but I doubt that happens now.
It's interesting to see the fighters who are ripping Conor and those that are offering an understanding POV (alongside a HUGE disclaimer that they don't condone his behavior).
Isn't it funny that the GOAT was there in the fracas? That's hilarious. _________________ We back. |

It is hilarious Artem is at the center of this lol.
Just so dispicable though that two fighters were injured and one UFC staff member has broken knuckles
Conor lost a lot of respect from his peers. Stipe's tweet was hilarious |

Aree. Stipe is he exact opposite of a fighter like McG. If anyone's earned the right to take the high road outside the ring, it's him. Love that dude. _________________ We back. |

That's about it for me too.
I love me some Thug Rose. Always have. Joanna seems a lot like she's trying to convince herself of an inevitable victory. Not saying it can't happen but she's definitely in some unfamiliar territory from a psychological point of view.
I'm rooting for and taking Namajunas by decision or late submission. _________________ We back. |

If the Khabib fight doesn't happen UFC should just offer the card for free and gain a ton of new fans lol |

Haha.
Yeah, that card went from initially epic, to a great bounce back, to a UFC Fox-level event in a hurry.
With all the weight cutting issues and late injuries causing subs or outright cancellations, I'm sure even hardcore fans are holding off on PPV purchases until after the weigh-ins.
Do they normally do an advanced purchase discount? _________________ We back. |

oooh great question! I have no idea!
This is why I never buy the fights in advance! 10 min before the fight I buy it on PSN lol |

Al Iaquinta vs Khabib official now.
If Khabib wins he's the undisputed champ
If Iaquinta wins he doesn't get the belt since he weighed in at 155.2 (they didn't allow him time to go cut the other .2 lbs |

Yeah I wonder how the negotiations went down. Word is Pettis wanted more than they were offering |

White says that everyone who lost out on a fight will be paid their show money. When asked if they were getting win and show, he said, “We’re not that rich.” |
I'd be going after Conor for win money + every potential fight of the night bonus + physical damages and emotional stress in addition to what UFC is paying |

Agree JB.
The Pettis fight would have been a walk in the park rag dolling, IMO. AI always comes ready to rumble and that first round or two should be entertaining. _________________ We back. |
