What'd you think?
I absolutely loved it and am going to watch it again. Some of the best fun I've had watching a movie in a long while.
I didn't read the book.
3 out of 4 friends I watched it with who did read the book were let down and couldn't get passed some of the changes. They will not be watching it again. |

(bleep) loved it
any gen X/xennial kid should love it
anyone who played video games from that era should love it
did not read the book. haven't checked yet but that sounded like john williams which gave the movie a soul
concept was great. might watch it again just to see if i can spot all of the cameos
none of the humor made me cringe. an amazing feat _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."

I'm going to see it twice at least...and I NEVER watch movies in the theater twice.

I read the book, but that was so long ago I don't remember much of it, haven't seen the movie yet. If LG backs it I'll definitely watch it _________________ Purple and Banana |

I enjoyed it. I thought most of the changes from the book were smartly done. Only quibble was with how localized the movie felt while the book felt more global, but I understand why they did it. |

Liked it a lot. Most of the changes were necessary for a good movie.
3 quests instead of 6. Action based quests instead of playing video games. Gathering the group much earlier.
They really damped down the 80's references, but that would annoy much of the younger audience. |

Same. I enjoyed the book, but the previews were a bit much for me. I'll see it at some point. |

This movie is catered more towards young kids. It was good, but I liked Avatar and Guardians of the Galaxy much more. |

I loved this movie. One of the best I’ve seen in the recent years.
Its funny because I went to see this movie because I was tired of walking around the mall all day with my wife. I told her lets watch a movie so we can rest. So we ended up watching this movie and absolutely loved it. Didnt even know about this movie. Lol. |
