Brandon / Lonzo / Kuz Update
To the surprise of no one
Per Tania G
The Lakers have listed Brandon Ingram (concussion) as out for tomorrow's game on the Lakers injury report. They've listed Kyle Kuzma (sprained ankles) and Lonzo Ball (bruised knee) as questionable.

Lonzo Update (?)
Without a discernible prompt – I didn’t see where anybody said anything – Shahan seems a tad defensive about his earlier tweet.
Per Shahan (tweet 3 of 3)
With regards to the "Questionable" designation for Lonzo Ball, he was already listed as questionable, so I understand why that designation carries forward. Just not much of a question in my mind based on Luke's response. We'll see tomorrow, I guess
...I'd be shocked if he plays.

Kuz Is Out
Per Oram
Rookie @kylekuzma is out tonight with an ankle sprain. His season is likely over. Before we all go home for the summer, however, take a moment to read about the evolution of a sky hook that Luke Walton calls "beautiful" and pays homage to Kareem & Magic.

I’m going to the game tonight. Hells bells. |

Indeed.
Ohm posted this a while ago but he sometimes posts things before they’re 100% confirmed. But here’s his tweet from earlier
Lonzo Ball (knee), Kyle Kuzma (ankle) and Brandon Ingram (concussion) are out tonight against Houston. Ingram will be re-evaluated tonight but even if cleared, he very well could sit out tomorrow's finale since it's a back-to-back.

Someone going to catch flack for how our guys were seemingly always hurt this year? Trainer? Strength coach? Anyone? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Per Trudell
Walton acknowledged that Ball, Kuzma and Ingram won’t play in these final two regular season games. Unfortunate given the momentum LAL has been building when healthy, but team wants to make sure each doesn’t have a set back heading into important offseason for growth.

I'm hoping Ingram, Kuz and Lonzo each dedicate this offseason to getting stronger the way Randle did last summer. Particularly BI and Lonzo. |

4/11/18 Season Closer vs Clippers
Ball, Kuzma, B. Ingram, Deng, and Thomas - OUT
And there it is. Not the way one would’ve hoped to have closed out our season. It started cold, looked promising, and then injuries smacked us down. That said it was fun doing this thread the season. I hope to do so again next season. Next season I hope this thread has far fewer significant injuries to report, and I look forward to continuing into THE PLAYOFFS!
Go Lakers! |

KCP OUT
Injuries just won’t let me have a night off apparently.
Per Trudell
KCP suffered a right shoulder AC joint sprain and will not return tonight.

EDIT: XRays negative for a break, so it's just a sprain. Get well soon KCP! |

LONZO REPORT
Per Ohm
Lonzo Ball had a PRP shot and stayed off his left knee for about a month to strengthen and heal his knee. Ball has been in the weight room since season ended but just returned to the court last week and says he's 100%
https://twitter.com/notoriousohm/status/1006326202393489409?s=21
I don’t know if this got covered in his thread since I don’t go in there, but I didn’t know this. I seriously hope he works on his strength and conditioning this off-season. |
