His conditioning is fine. A lot better than most. He's played in every game but two this year and he's averaging a little over 31 minutes per game. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Maybe it’s just adjusting to the longer NBA season |

He's playing more minutes per game than Randle this year. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Kuz can definitely work on his conditioning. He's great at playing through it, but he lost his legs for a while there, even before this large stretch of playing crazy minutes.
Pretty much something every rookie/young player needs to get used to. To his credit he's shown an awesome ability to push through fatigue.
These guys are going to be fun after an offseason of work. It's why it's so important we make sure these guys are in good health to finish the season and don't take any risks with them favouring anything (why they're so cautious with Ball, and have been). Losing an offseason due to having to rehab would be a huge loss. Big picture. |

Is Kuzma going to play in the NBA Summer League?
After a 77+ game rookie season, I don't see what he has to gain from participating. I would rather have him working out with the trainers than see him play in some meaningless games. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

I doubt it... should leave that to our first rd pick this year, Bryant, Caruso, Ennis, Zubac etc |

I feel like summer league is only for young players that haven’t proven they can compete against the NBA’s best... Kuzma has proven that. |

the warriors put their entire starting team in the summer league the year that they started to compete. It was about building a winning identity. They had curry and klay and it was ridiculous but they won everything _________________ Kobe |

They had Klay and Dray, Curry wasn't on the summer league team but your point still stands |

I agree. We should see Thomas and the draft picks from this season...none of the rest need to be there. Hopefully magic has them on 2 a days all summer working on their weaknesses. Next season is the year we compete! |

Would you say the same about the regular season? It all builds upon itself. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Nah. Would be more interested in seeing what T Bryant brings to the table and focus on him, Hart and our (so far) 2 draft picks _________________ Austin Reaves

Not that Kuzma plays big minutes but that the FO missed so badly on Randle. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Or it could be the coach thought Kuzma and Randle deserved the minutes they got? Who knows really...
You love to create negative ideas and then associated them with "the front office" when what you really mean is Magic and Jeannie. |

Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma borrows from Kareem and Magic to resurrect sky hook
Quote: | Kuzma said he has studied footage of the original sky hook, although the shot Kuzma used to beat the Spurs, and other opponents this season, is not a direct facsimile of the one Abdul-Jabbar made famous. Abdul-Jabbar would back guys into the paint, gracefully pin them on his left hip, then raise his right leg as he flipped the ball in with his right. It was every bit a post move, and gorgeous. |

I refuse to accept that we have watched Kyle Kuzma play his last Laker game for the season. _________________ Austin Reaves

I won't call the poster by name, but I agree. We got it....he doesn't like the Lakers FO and it's ok, but some of us are starting to brace for the next shot at Magic, and the next shot at Jeanie....and the next.
Its already gotten old. |

Kuzma is the real deal.
Has the game and mental makeup of a potential franchise player. _________________ Everyting negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise.
