I’d like to see Giannis kick Simmons’ ass. |

If the Jazz beat the Blazers then OKC will drop to the 6th seed. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Philly is up 37-12 on Milwaukee early. Surprising effort, given that a 1st round pick is on the line for them. |

I think okc/utah first rounds series would be a good one. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I see why philly is successful. They have a real point guard and they play a the modern style of winning basketball.. they take and make a lot of 3s. |

I’ve been listening, I don’t think I have ever heard a Pelicans crowd that fired up. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Interesting factoid, Moore has scored in double digits 52 times this season. I wouldn’t have guessed that. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Isn't Milwaukee tanking to not face Cleveland? Let's say they beat Philly and Cavs win against NY (currently down 20 at the half) then Cavs end up 3rd and Milwaukee ends up 6th. |

The odds are extremely slim that they are going to make a deep playoff run no matter which team they play, and you would think that the organization would value the 1st round pick far more. I almost feel like I'm missing something...does the loss ensure they keep the pick, rather than what I read? LOL. |

Interestingly enough, their pick is top 10 and 17-30 protected. They are currently at 17 so if they lose and Miami/Washington win, their pick is a coin flip away from going to Phoenix. Not sure if they are tanking to avoid the Cavs or they are just this bad. No "playoff team" can be this bad right? Right? |

Despite down 31, Milwaukee is still on path to keep that first rd. pick with Miami and Washington both losing. |

Westbrook averaging a triple double is definitely another point (no pun intended) in OKC’s favor when it comes to keeping George, which sucks for us. Hard to walk away from a guy who can dominate like that and make history in a way that we've never seen. But let's remain hopeful. There are legitimate reasons for him to sign with the Lakers. Magic and Rob just have to be exquisite salesmen in that pitch meeting. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. What's Milwaukee's pick situation |
In the Bledsoe trade, they traded their 1st round pick to the Suns, but it's protected 1-10 and 17-30. If both Washington and Miami lose tonight (along with the Bucks' certain loss), it appears the pick would slot 17th, so they'd keep it. If it doesn't convey this season, it's protected 1-3 and 17-30 next season. If it still hasn't conveyed, in '19-20 it's protected 1-7. If it still hasn't conveyed, then it's unprotected in '21.
Miami is down by 9 to Toronto with 10 minutes left, and Washington is down by 8 to Orlando late in the 3rd. |

Nuggets on a quick 8-0 run and have tied the game in Minnesota at 99 with 2:51 to play. Timeout, Wolves. |
