No brainer, no surprise.

Quote:
In his exit interview Friday morning, president of basketball operations Magic Johnson officially ruled Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball out for the 2018 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The Lakers won the Las Vegas Summer League championship last year.

It could happen because he will definitely be available (No one else wants the LaVar headache). Maglinka has experience in that respect.

He also would make a decent bench role player in the G-League.
The UCLA Heath Center would sellout almost every game.

**Lakers scout spotted at Lithuanian basketball game, LiAngelo Ball a possible target

At worst Liangelo could be a late 2nd round pick by the Lakers or another team at the very worst he'll be on the Lakers Summer League team and if he plays well enough will be on their pre-season roster.

IMO Gelo wont get drafted but he may sign as a free agent. He'll be G-League bound.

This...Kuz and Ball don't need SL and both Josh and Bryant should have very good summer leagues.

I'd say it depends upon who we draft.

I got a feeling that even though no one is really thinking we will.. that we may draft a point guard that we envision as a backup point guard just in case.

So some college drop out is supposed to be enticing? The entire coverage surrounding SPL last year was about LaVar. I'll put up with it to watch Lonzo, but not some bum.

Too bad, I think ZO could use the work, although he would probably get injured...

Lonzo needs to work on his shot, not summer league. Team will announce the new shooting coach is moving in next to Lonzo.

There’s a lot of them who project to go around where we pick too.

Ingram won’t play summer league. Wear isn’t for sure either.

The FO comes through again and our two draft picks dominate the SL while leading us to victory!!

I think Ennis will be gone, but they may bring in Gary Payton II to Summer League if they don't draft a point guard. But I kind of expect them to draft a point guard and a stretch 4. though I think they should focus on drafting a shooting guard.
