Not surprised about Vogel, but Hornachek a little surprised as he got Kristaps to the all-star game. Didn't really follow either team this season, but looks they weren't so talented to begin with.

Stan Van Gundy OTOH that's a guy I think should have been fired considering the talent he has to work with.

Fire them all early, so the NBA can play musical chairs and hire them elsewhere..

Part of me wished that the Timberwolves lost to the Nuggets so that Thibs would finally be done as a head coach in the NBA.

Wasn't Vogel considered one of the best coaches in the league when he was with the Pacers?

Screaming Stan's style wears thin by about December 1st for the players.

No one needs a fat guy jumping up and down on the sidelines screaming all the time.

Was being the operative word. The NBA is all about what have you done for me lately, unless the GM is Lebron then you can get fired even if your ball club is in 1st place....

The fact that he was coaching the most inept franchise in the league doesn't help though...

Thats pretty much what will happen. They teams that had coaches which didn't fit will just move to another team where their style will be appreciated.

^Phil's done. Hope the Dolandollars were worth it as his legacy has seen better days. Looks like Rambis got released from NY too, think he'll eventually be allowed to rejoin the Laker organization in some capacity when the time comes.

Not surprised with either. They'll find other spots but they weren't working where they were.

Hey man, the TWolves are on their way to the playoffs for the first time in 12-zillion years. That fat guy yelling is doing something right.

No way Phil tarnishes his legacy by coaching a team whose best player is Kemba Walker.

I wasn't that broken up when the fired Frank. I wasn't too keen on Nate but this season has kind of changed my mind.

I feel he adapts in ways Frank does not.

Phil is done coaching. I would imagine he still got plenty of money left and don't forget he could barely walk which is why he left coaching in the first place.

I doubt Phil would want to coach but the though of hiring Phil at this point is a horrible decision. He was basically coaching the Knicks via proxy with puppet coaches when he was there and we seen how that turned out. And the last time he was a head coach the Lakers got swept out of the playoffs. The triangle has simply ran its course in today's NBA.
