Take BPA no matter what position IMO. There’s plenty of wings who will be available in FA that we can plug in at the 2 and we have Josh Hart. I don’t think we need to focus on any specific position in the draft. |

Too bad but not surprised and clearly for the best. Please get healthy and STRONG this summer Lonzo and Brandon. |

It will be interesting. I've been going to summer league since 2003, and last year was insane. The crowds, media coverage, it really became an event. Will be interesting to see how much of that was Lonzo. I think it became a legitimate event last year and will be sold out again, especially with the stacked rookie class. |

Fine with me. I'd prefer they use the entire break until next season to work on their skills plus strength and conditioning. Probably would prefer Hart to do the same, he really doesn't have anything to prove or gain from summer league imo. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. Agreed, IMO Josh Hart probably will only play one or two games max. |

Yeah, people have made much of how much SL has grown the last several years, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it coincides with the Lakers being in the lottery. The first year it really seemed to become huge was the year they drafted Russell. It was just as crazy when they drafted BI, but last year was historic lol. The Lonzo effect for sure. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. They proved what they could last year, no point in them playing again. Gotta give other youngsters playing time. |

Why is hart playing but not kuzma. Hart is arguably a better and more important player for us |

really do not get to the logic....if your not playing Ball and Kuzma because you want to protect them from injury and believe they will not benefit....then the logic should conclude Josh Hart should not play either. I could make an argument that while Ball and Kuzma are better prospects, they would benefit from Summer League more than Hart who is more physically developed and played more basketball at high levels. |

Exactly.
The only thing I can think of is that lonzo and kuzma declined to play while hart opted in. Haven’t heard the FO’s exits yet tho |

This year will be huge. All 30 teams will attend LV summer league for the first time ever. |

I forgot about that....Orlando sucked for fans who could not attend even though some teams liked that part. |

Wherever just stay there lol
I also did not understand why Hart would be playing if everybody else is staying out to get healthy. ???? |

maybe give him some leadership experience? I doubt that is it....the guy was always seen as a leader @ 'Nova. Maybe experiment with him playing some PG? |

I noticed that also, but you got there first. The Ukraine and Lithuania lack a common border and the languages aren't that much alike. |

So some college drop out is supposed to be enticing? The entire coverage surrounding SPL last year was about LaVar. I'll put up with it to watch Lonzo, but not some bum. |
I'll say this about LiAngelo, dude looks like he lost some weight. He looks leaner. Also, his release is quick. I think his shot improved. |

Nobody is drafting Gelo so even using a 2nd round pick on him is a waste. The team could give him a shot without drafting him but I’m not sure even that is a good idea for a guy that probably wouldn’t even start for UCLA and played no college ball. |

This is preposterous!! Zo needs to improve his shot and conditioning but that guy already knows how to run a pro NBA team better than more than half of the guys already in the pros running NBA teams. He doesn't need to go practice running PG with a team of mostly scrubs.
It would be a huge waste of time. _________________ Never argue with stupid people! They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience!! - Twain |

So who will our Summer league stars be?
Zubac
Bryant
Hart
Caruso
Wear
1st and 2nd round draft picks
That has the makings of a pretty good team. |

Chalk me up with the group that think LiAngelo makes it on the SL squad and the South Bay Lakers.
And thats about as far as he will get. |
