And yet we continue to get sucked down the whirlpool while nothing actually happens to prevent it.

John McCain:

I applaud the president for taking military action against the Assad regime for its latest use of chemical weapons, and for signaling his resolve to do so again if these heinous attacks continue.

But only sporadically, and when there’s something at home to try to deflect from.

Many of the cameras use artificial intelligence, including facial recognition technology.

They did a segment about their technology on Viceland channel last night. A (or THE) leading company is called Skynet.

Trump weighs rejoining Trans-Pacific Partnership amid trade dispute with China

Anybody with an ounce of international trade knowledge knew it was an idiot idea to leave TPP in the first place.
Wharton business school should be ashamed someone so daft is alumni. But hey Wharton didn't elect this guy President. They just let him buy his way through school.

The main thrust of supporting TPP and going after China for IP theft would actually be a Trump position I'm aligned with. I feel dirty.

Even the most conservative of estimates say we lose $225 billion annually to China's IP theft. So I agree it is an issue that should be addressed.
My issue is Trump leaving TPP because the final negotiations became a hallmark achievement for Obama. Trump dictated the US's international trade policy based on racial hate for his predecessor.
And the irony is. TPP linked Asia nations with our allies Canada, Chile and Australia (as well as us) as a way to permanently tie the United States to East Asia and create an economic bulwark against China (who wasn't a part of the agreement).

Trump has a hardcore base that will always support him regardless of what he does.

Like he can he shot someone on 5th Avenue and they'd still support him.

BIG HIT coming to Starbucks bottom line... possibly.. unless they get creative real fast.. this is all because of the one manager

Thought about making this its own thread..

One employee..
In 2017, there were 27,339 Starbucks stores around the world.

I can just imagine how this could affect a company that large

^ Having lived in Philly. It's far less racist than most of Pennsylvania. Which is the sad part.

In the 80s James Carville described everywhere in Pennsylvania not named Philly or Pittsburgh as "Alabama without black people". Holds pretty true all these years later.
My buddies who still live in PA call that area Pennsyltucky.

Excusing the employee who caused the incident wasn't a good look, but ultimately it won't matter.

Oh it's terrible, Trump brought out nationalism in this country, in the worst possible way.

I remember sitting at a bar the night before Trump was sworn in and there were two older guys talking about how Trump would get rid of Mexicans. Couldn't believe what I was hearing.

Here's a cartoon I saw a while ago that sums it up perfect to me.
