ok. lol |
Not that Kuzma plays big minutes but that the FO missed so badly on Randle. |
Or it could be the coach thought Kuzma and Randle deserved the minutes they got? Who knows really...
You love to create negative ideas and then associated them with "the front office" when what you really mean is Magic and Jeannie. |
Randle playing like 16 mpg in November was an obviously idiotic decision. Don't know or care if it came from the FO though, it's on Luke. |

Kuzma great season thank you.
Work hard this off season. Work on your creativity it is your strength and will help you around the hoop where you could finish stronger. Work on your defense and passing and get stronger so you can rebound better.
I love your killer instinct don't ever lose that. I hope you take the off season to work on being great. |

What he needs to work on the most is ball handling and defense. But even if he doesn't improve on those much but does improve his overall game, he'll have another great year next season
It's definitely the difference between becoming a star and remaining a role player tho. Because of his age, I think next year is basically the one chance he has at becoming a "star". Once the media brands you it's just how it is. _________________ Kobe |

Seeing how much Kuz grew this year, I can't wait for next season after 1 season under his belt and after another summer's worth of development.
He's going to be the actual beast that we thought Ingram was going to be in his 2nd year.
We'll probably start seeing Kuz's face in the middle of all Laker promo's and Spectrum Sportsnet commercials come November. |

For an older rookie, year two will be pivotal. Hopefully, he doesn't stagnate like Clarkson did instead of improving his defense and other aspects of his game. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Since this group already won last year no point in winning again |
Would you say the same about the regular season? It all builds upon itself. |
Regular season is meaningful games. These guys proved NBA caliber players and should be in gym working on their games, strength and conditioning. No need to be running around vs g-league and future european players. With Zo injury history better he rests and doesnt risk injury too |

Kuzma on "The Jump" today. Haven't seen Rachel this giggly since she interviewed Osi Umenyiora pre Super Bowl.

I think he will improve defensively, with his shot selection, passing, individual shot creation but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is his best offensive season from a raw numbers perspective. I’ll probably get killed for saying this but I don’t see his role on offense being big enough to drastically improve his numbers. I expect him to be more efficient and well rounded going forward but around 15 ppg is more or less where he’ll be at on a contending team. |

Work on your handles and conditioning and you'll be an all-star. What's preventing Kuz from getting to the hoop more often is his dribbling. He can't take many people off the dribble right now; I think his dribbling might be a bit too high. Fix it. |

He has the makings of being the star of this team. I know there are some who want BI or Lonzo to be that player but this guy has all the qualities to be great. Luke won't be able to handcuff him next year because the skills are too obvious. |

I'd like to see him work on having a more explosive first step, improved free throws and better foot work at the post. His conditioning is fine. He logged the most Laker minutes. |

Brandon Ingram has all the qualities of a star, dude was legit averaging 18/6/5 on 52/56/72 on the stretch before he got injured. And he's 2 years younger then Kuzma. Ingram is gonna take the (bleep) over next season and look like an all star.
However we have both and if Kuzma takes a leap this year, we're looking at a really scary player. If he improves his ball handing and defense, he's gonna be a legit PF. |

Lee Jenkins:
Quote: | When Kuzma interviewed with the Lakers at the combine in Chicago last May, he was sweating through his dress shirt. “I mean, it’s Magic Johnson, but then he smiles, so you smile and the whole vibe changes,” Kuzma recalls. “This isn’t some analytics guy with glasses talking about your per-48. It’s laid-back, feet up, chilling and talking.” Kuzma is from Flint, Mich., 55 miles from Johnson’s hometown of Lansing. He launched into his life story, sharing that he and his mother were once homeless. The Lakers, desperate for an infusion of edge, were smitten. |

I thought it helped him when he was forced to play SF. I think he was very effective there and once he when the his overall game took off.
Yes he can improve his defense, passing and his handle but he can also sharpen his shooting and finishing around the hoop. He an get a little stronger and more explosive.
There is nothing glaring that he needs to work on but if he got just a little better at everything and became stronger and more explosive he can take a big leap next year. |

Handles, defense, strength, and free throws. Those should all be the priority for Kuz this summer. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest |
