Does it make a huge difference to the Lakers if Lebron loses earlier than expected? Does it create a easier transitional facilitation for the Lakers to sign Lebron? _________________ Hambuger! The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast
Laker fans shouldn't want LeBron... _________________

It's 76ers imo. That is his "best" chance at catching MJ for 6 rings.
Either way, still doesn't make a difference. Lebron will make his choice based on pure basketball decision (Rockets, Sixers) or non-basketball/family/business decision (Lakers).
I didn't want him. But now I'm starting to feel like he's the only thing that will draw guys like PG13 and Kawhi. I was banking on the hope that PG13 would sign here regardless. Now I'm not so sure.
Not really, I want him to lose before the finals. I don't even hate Lebron or anything, but I just like to see NBA fans salty and them losing their minds.
The hot takes if Lebron loses before the finals will be (bleep) delicious.

Don't forget the Decision took place after the Celtics eliminated Lebron and the Cavs before they ever reached the Conference Finals. I can imagine Lebron thinking long and pondering his decision for months if he were eliminated in the early rounds.

Yeah, I see the 76ers as the frontrunners because they offer him the best opportunities for his legacy. With the Rockets he gets to play with his buddies but they will have a big road block to the Finals in the form of the Warriors. Lakers are 3rd because there are other moving parts like other free agents that will agree to come to LA in order for him to sign here.

I think there is a 50% chance Lebron comes to our Lakers as they are now and a 80% chance if we sign lucky PG-13 or Cousins first _________________ Hambuger! The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast

I'm noticing a guy unable to push his team to victory even when they're not as good, the way he used to do in the past. He doesn't lock down opponents the way he used to be able to, and his defensive abilities are only going to decline more when he comes.
I anticipate a good Lakers team if he joins, but imo it will have plenty to do with a talented team being around him, while being less about him being a superstar. His great games are getting fewer and father between, and his statistics are more human, while his team looks as ordinary any since his earliest NBA days.
I don't know if any of y'all were watching the Pacers and Cavs game today, but LeBron at this point in his career plays no defense, and just pads his stats. His numbers looked good today because he played 46 minutes, but overall he made little to no impact on the game. And he's turning 34 soon and wants a multi year max contract? Pass.
