Philly Starbucks manager let go after calling cops on black men

A Starbucks spokeswoman told the Philadelphia Inquirer the decision to part ways with the unnamed manager was a “mutual” choice. |

Thankfully Spurs ownership hasn't silenced him
Those parent will hopefully leave their team
I wouldn't want them repping my team if I was a Spurs fan
I would put popavich as President any second over Trump |

I looked last night and Pennsylvania is like 10th in murder statistics
6 cops for simple trespass?
Someone needs to look into this.
Is their a shade chart for how many cops are sent?
Two white skinned gentlemen.. One or two cops show up
Two Black skinned gentlemen... Six Cops?? |

Maybe I'm naïve but what's the importance of this?
We all know Hannity is a mouth piece for Trump. |

Twitter is pretty funny right now. Seems like Fox is refusing to acknowledge the Hannity story and people are killing them on each tweet for it. |

Special Counsel, Special Master. What's the next special?
If I have it right Special Master will review seized material and determine what client, attorney privilege material can be presented. Will someone with knowledge of law clarify the duties and limits of a Special Master?
I keep hearing Cohen's not really a lawyer. What does that mean? If he's not really a lawyer how can there be attorney, client privilege.
Michael Cohen court hearing: Judge considers Special Master to review seized evidence, Sean Hannity revealed as Cohen client

Quote: | As detailed herein, we believe that the most proper and practical solution to this unprecedented question and attendant circumstances is for this Court to appoint a Special Master. First and foremost, the appointment of a Special Master will provide for the fair administration of justice here and avoid even a hint of impropriety here in the review of Mr. Cohen’s data and documents. Second, the appointment of a Special Master will protect the integrity of the Government’s investigation from the toxic partisan politics of the day and attacks on the impartiality of the Justice Department and the USAO. Frankly, we hoped that the USAO would join this application and work with us to devise an expedient set of rules and procedures for a Special Master’s review of the seized materials that also takes into account the interests of the various privilege holders, as described in detail in the letter submitted on behalf of Intervenor, Donald J. Trump, on April 15, 2018. Third, the appointment of a Special Master will allow Mr. Cohen to observe his ethical obligations to his clients as well as protect the identity of his clients by providing them, when necessary, to the Special Master on an in camera basis |

Cohen is a lwyer in the sense that he has passed the bar, what people mean is that he doesn't behave as a lawyer typically does. He's what's known as a fixer, who uses intimidation and behind the scenes dealing to handle a client's needs without them going to court or becoming public. If you've ever watched the Show Ray Donovan, Ray in the beginning works for a lawyer who does exactly that. Or watch the movie Michael Clayton. _________________ “We must always take sides. Top Republican Official Says Trump Won Wisconsin Because of Voter ID Law. The law blocked thousands of Wisconsinites from voting in 2016, predominantly in Democratic-leaning areas.
Quote: | Election officials and Democrats in Wisconsin have repeatedly argued that the state’s strict voter ID law allowed Donald Trump to win the state in 2016 by keeping thousands of voters—predominantly in Democratic-leaning areas—from the polls. Now a top Republican official in the state is saying the same thing.
“We battled to get voter ID on the ballot for the November ’16 election,” Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, who defended the law in court, told conservative radio host Vicki McKenna on April 12. “How many of your listeners really honestly are sure that Sen. [Ron] Johnson was going to win reelection or President Trump was going to win Wisconsin if we didn’t have voter ID to keep Wisconsin’s elections clean and honest and have integrity?”
The law, which went into effect in 2016, required specific forms of government-issued photo identification to vote. In a cover story last year, Mother Jones reported that the law kept tens of thousands of eligible voters from the polls and likely tipped the state to Trump. A federal court found in 2014 that 9 percent of registered voters in Wisconsin did not possess the identification necessary to vote. In a University of Wisconsin study published in September 2017, 1 in 10 registered voters in Milwaukee County and Madison’s Dane County who did not cast a ballot in 2016 cited the voter ID law as a reason why. That meant that up to 23,000 voters in the two heavily Democratic counties—and as many as 45,000 voters statewide—didn’t vote because of the voter ID law. Trump won the state by 22,000 votes.
African Americans, who favored Hillary Clinton over Trump by an 88-to-8 margin, were three times as likely as whites to say they were deterred from voting by the law. |

If we are These UNITED STATES
How can any state in the Republic enact separate and different voter laws
Federal Laws need to fix all of this crap
Jail everyone involved in Criminal Gerrymandering.. Yes..JAIL
Since when have our Politicians become so brazen in their willingness to prove they are Thugs Above the Law
Embarrassing that we have gangsters called politicians whom our citizens have to constantly be protecting ourselves from..
Get the pitchforks.. |

Trumps presidency is uncovering many flaws in our Democratic system. I hope those in position to address the flaws will do so. I place a lot of the blame at the feet of Congress.
If the Blue Wave comes to fruition it's going to be on Dems to correct what's been shown to weaken the system. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Yeah. I'm an "attorney," but I don't do litigation anymore. So I can't, just by the virtue of having Esq. behind my name, subsume everything under attorney-client privilege. The title is not enough; it's the type of work you're doing. Doubt Cohen was doing legal work, per se, even if it's Cohen, Esq. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

It also exposed the GOP as hypocrite party. They used to tout that they are a party of 'family values'. That is so far from the truth. If their idea of family values are lies and deceit then I want no part in it.
Dems need a more moderate leadership and candidate. Too far left, they will continue to alienate the folks on the right. _________________ The journey to 17 begins... |
