Where Kawhi Leonard ends up this summer 'has a direct impact' on LeBron James | SportsNation | ESPN
lot of good insight from Brian Windhorst.
lets get it:
Lebron
Kawahi
Paul George
Assuming Magic/Pelinka do their research on KL's health condition and sees that's he good to go, then (bleep) it. Sign and trade Randle and Ingram for KL, sign Lebron and PG.

I know he has been....but, that doesn't mean he still doesn't have something wrong. Its his experts, versus the Spurs.....
who do you believe?

Have to totally agree with you. Something doesn't feel right. I never thought Dwight felt right and look at how that turned out?
As much as I think Leonard is amazing and would be fantastic, he is either 1) really hurt and not healing right or 2) he is playing the Spurs, a very highly respected organization, wrong.
Both are not good.....
I think Laker fans need to think about that before we start trading Ingram, Ball, Kuz, etc....
There is huge risk here......

Kawhi Interest on this board feels like the beginning of The Dwightmare all over again. A guy in a winning situation is unhappy for mysterious reasons. And we're assuming that in coming here, whatever his issues are that preventing him for even being on the bench for his teammates, will magically disappear once he's in a Laker jersey.
To me, he's either a high injury risk or a high locker room risk. Or, like Dwight, he might be both.
The only difference is we'd be giving up even greater assets for the Pandora's Box that is Kawhi. Dream teams can be fun to think about, but Dwightmares and Kawhitemares can take years to wake up from.
he is evaluated and cleared by Spurs Doctors since December

Let's get it.
And if the Spurs deny access to evaluate Leonard?
They'll probably only allow the Clippers to evaluate him...
I wouldn’t allow anyone but have no idea what the Spurs would do. I don’t remember them ever trading a top player. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

posted a link from few hundred pages back from spurstalk. insider mentioned: Kawahi's agent wants him in LA.
no shoe company is paying Kawahi, Harden/KD kind of deal if he is in SA
His agent wants the best contract that he can negotiate for him. His business manager wants more off the court revenue. The super max is the best contract he can get while a shoe contract larger than the $20 mil he was offered would make the business manager happy. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
after seeing the IT episode, i am on KL side. don't come back unless his doctors clear him
His doctors have cleared him a long time ago, but according to Pop, his group is the one that doesn’t him to play.... that to me sounds like his time with the Spurs is over unless someone can convince him that the supermax is to tough to pass up.

who told u the spurs are guaranteed to offer him a super max?
if they really were going to give the super max, they won't be throwing him under the buss every chance they get

Reports are that the Clippers are engaged in trying to trade for Leonard.
The Clippers and every other team in the NBA not named Golden State or Houston.
Windhorst reported a couple of weeks ago that teams are gearing up with offers.
why do you think GSW and Houston will not make a call....a healthy Kawhi makes both better. If they could put Durant, Steph and Kawhi on the same roster....I would no longer waste my time watching the NBA.

Because they cant afford them all.
They don’t need cap space to trade for him.
Who would they trade for him?
Whoever the Spurs and Houston/GS agree upon. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
