If only there was a way we could steal an allstar center from another team. Maybe Cousins with the room exception

Reports are that the Clippers are engaged in trying to trade for Leonard. |
The Clippers and every other team in the NBA not named Golden State or Houston.
Windhorst reported a couple of weeks ago that teams are gearing up with offers. |
why do you think GSW and Houston will not make a call....a healthy Kawhi makes both better. If they could put Durant, Steph and Kawhi on the same roster....I would no longer waste my time watching the NBA. |
Because they cant afford them all. |
They don’t need cap space to trade for him. |
Who would they trade for him? |
Whoever the Spurs and Houston/GS agree upon. |
My fault I worded it wrong.
Who in the hell do the Rockets have to trade for Leonard?
And same question with the warriors inserted rockets dropped |

His doctors have cleared him a long time ago, but according to Pop, his group is the one that doesn’t him to play.... that to me sounds like his time with the Spurs is over unless someone can convince him that the supermax is to tough to pass up. |

Same. Forget Lakers or Spurs, this is the correct thing to do and make sure career isn’t cut short. |

Why? |
Because all these pretend-scenarios and speculation is for next season. You can't trade or sign free agents during these playoffs. *edit: well, you CAN trade with other non-playoff teams but you get the point

Good point, I’m pretty sure the mods or the OP will change it, especially since off season is already here for the Lakers.

posted a link from few hundred pages back from spurstalk. insider mentioned: Kawahi's agent wants him in LA.
no shoe company is paying Kawahi, Harden/KD kind of deal if he is in SA |
His agent wants the best contract that he can negotiate for him. His business manager wants more off the court revenue. The super max is the best contract he can get while a shoe contract larger than the $20 mil he was offered would make the business manager happy. |
who told u the spurs are guaranteed to offer him a super max?
if they really were going to give the super max, they won't be throwing him under the buss every chance they get |
This is a very strange situation. Kawhi is one of my favorite players (Aztec Pride) and the last guy that would seemingly find himself in this type of situation, I don't know what to make of it but I don't think Kawhi would sit out if he felt like he could play based on what I know of him. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Let's see if they can keep it up for the whole playoffs. If so, Philly is simply a blessed city this year. |

I usually do the write up for the next FA in September. Can change the title to 2018 FA. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Grant Hill is the most egregious example, dude's career was cut short despite listening to team doctors.
I just wish we heard a peep from his agent or the Lakers secretly put out a smokescreen about his interest in LA. Similar to Paul George and claiming he won't sign with anybody but LA, whoever's camp that came from was genius in tanking his value.
Indy still won out with the incredible Victor Oladipo, but still, imagine a "Kawhi won't re-sign with any team that trades for him unless it's the Lakers" report and what it would do for his trade value, even if completely fabricated. |

I still can't imagine the Lakers FO lucking out signing one big FA....the thought of two or even three just seems like crazy pipe dream..
I mean, you guys know the chances of one is small, two smaller and all theee almost zero, right? |

Ya IT atleast lost 100m |
Now how do you explain the "wont even sit behind the bench to support his teammates during playoffs" part? Is he at risk for reinjury from standing up too fast to high five someone? |

I agree about Leonard not supporting his team is strange.
Could it be the result from the team meeting they had about a month ago. Sure that wasn't good. |

Was Kobe at every game when he was recovering from the Achilles? I don’t remember seeing him there very often. A lot of injured players use that time for rehab. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Imagine a healthy Hill with TMac. I don't give an ish about Orlando, but that would've been an amazing basketball tandem. |

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard is what I want for this team. Those two with Ball would be the most devastating defensive backcourt in the NBA. |
