If PG and Lebron get bounced of the playoffs in the first round, what do that say about them though ?
it means they can't carry teams.
In LeBron's case it would be "He can't carry a team of players that's 2 years away and will likely go to a team where he doesn't have worry about that."
In Paul George's case it would be "he had the MVP that averaged a triple double and couldn't contribute to them to make them get any farther than they did last year. Is he really worth 30M? No" _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

That is essentially why the plan is to bring PG and LeBron together

Even Kobe has been bounced out of the first round. So has MJ. IMO It means nothing. Biggest reason for the Cavs decline is they lost Irving.

Just like Shaq had teams he played on swept multiple times. Ultimately it doesn't matter if you come through in the ultimate showcase enough times. Shaq did, Kobe did, MJ did. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny
I don't know if any of y'all were watching the Pacers and Cavs game today, but LeBron at this point in his career plays no defense, and just pads his stats. His numbers looked good today because he played 46 minutes, but overall he made little to no impact on the game. And he's turning 34 soon and wants a multi year max contract? Pass.
Agreed.
I couldn't agree more. All he does is dominate the ball and pad his stats. He thinks if he scores more points than Kareem he'll be considered the greatest ever. Dude is a joke IMO.
So which other big names are padding their stats today? Who are the biggest offenders? To me the biggest offender is Westbrook but I’d still want that guy on my team.
Kobe lost out on MVP awards because haters dismissed his greatness with comments like “He is just padding his stats.”
Getting Lebron would virtually guarantee PG13 signing here so yea, it'd be a big plus, anything to get him to sign here. Cleveland looks dead though. I hope Lebron come out with a monster game next game and Cleveland still loses. That would all but seal the deal for his exit from Cleveland. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

Doesn't matter if they want him or not, just found this:
Bron’s agent, Rich Paul just bought a $3 million home in Beverly Hills.
Marketing point man Maverick Carter bought one in the Hollywood Hills for $3.5 million. Befitting his status as “The King,’ Bron bought one in Brentwood in December for $23 million. _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”

Oh, don't get me started. Never mind that Bryant basically handed Durant a scoring title he was just a few points shy of by not playing the final game of the season. Or sitting out the final quarters of monster games. Or in general deferring to Shaq in order to give the team the best chance to win.

You can make all the points you want and haters won’t care. My point is we shouldn’t be so blinded by the hate that we fail to see greatness when it’s right in front of us.
I want to throw something at the people who dismiss the 81 point game because Kobe had 2 assists in that game. If they’re not even impressed by that then nothing will impress them.
Absolutely. If Cleveland were to say get swept by Indy, that would greatly increase the chances he leaves the Cavs.
Once he decides to leave, anything could happen.
To me, he is still the best player in the league.
There’s no debate. Denying this just shows a hatred for Lebron.
With that said, I’m not sure getting swept makes him want to join the Lakers. It could make him believe he can no longer carry a team and make him wanna join a more talented group to get a few more rings.
Right now? ...maybe. Next year? You better believe there’ll be a fierce debate. Two years from now? Probably not.

Just like LMA having a house in LA was proof that he would be a Laker. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

He probably wanted to be here. Your boys Mitch, Jim, and Chaz the Bartender (bleep) that up with their underwhelming performance... Thank God though, because we dodged a bullet just like we did with Melo & Dwight...
