The Rockets only win championships when the best player in the league is hurt/temporarily retired/recently un-retired. This feels like their year with Steph out/hobbled

Maybe we tie. I will change my Cleveland pick to 5 games since they haven't played yet to help keep a tie from happening. Let me know if anyone has a problem with that. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Nah, not in terms of games though, just in terms of winners through each round You could keep your original Cleveland in 6 if you'd like. I have the Warriors sweeping the playoffs. _________________

Obviously this is too late to enter the brackets.
But I thiught before the playoffs Cleveland is not going anywhere and the east is between Philly and Toronto.
In the west, Utah is a very tough play against at home, so its either Utah in 6 or OKC in 7 - but am rooting for Utah.
NO is playing well and Portland wasnt the last week of the season, but I still think Portland prevais - though NO is plemnty capable of winning.
And the real NBA championship will be the WCF between Houston and GS. Thats a dead even series, but will take Houston due to the home court advantage.

I hadn't paid close attention to the Pelicans. I did not know Holiday was having a career year. Dude is a gamer. Pelicans very impressive right now.

They are #1 in pace and Portland tried to keep up. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Note to self... pay a little more attention to Terry Rozier and Jrue Holiday. Another guy I have slept on is Rozier. Kyrie's injury has allowed him to shine. He's not just being forced playing time the way Luke forces playing time on journeymen players due to injuries. Rozier actually has mad game.
