Is there a way to see these Synergy numbers on a month to month basis (the idea to show change in playtype and/or skill progression) ..? _________________ Resident Car Nut.

That's really what I'm wondering. I could care less what the over numbers say for the year. I want to see where there was progress made if any at all. |

Numbers are cute. But unfortunately the only ones they matter are the ones reflecting wins and losses. |

All the more reason for him to not pass up those catch & shoot attempts next season. If he's a threat, it opens up opportunities for him to do some things that he's already very good at. |
I am actually very pleased that he was average on the catch & shoot jumpers. That is going to be very important, and hopefully his jumper only continues to improve. Thanks for the data! |

These were through the end of January. I believe he started his first game at PG against Brooklyn on 2/1. You can compare these to the previous ones I posted and see where there was improvement.

Great Stuff, Thanks GT.
Can you split those by month? Like someone mentioned, it would be
more telling to see his feb. split to evaluate his max potential. |

He only played in 13 games from 2/1 until the end of the season. I'll try to get the numbers from 2/1 and on tomorrow. |

Didn't realized how long he stayed out.
Thanks a lot GT.
Just want you to know how much laker fans around the world appreciate what you're doing. I've certainly try to spread the words here in asia as much as I can. I'm glad that I am one of very early patron supporter since the beginning of LFR movement!!! |

So Ingram should be used as a Spot up, Cutter, Slasher....

While its true that everything BI did well this past season was off the ball stuff, transition, spot up(including attacking close outs), cut...etc., we shouldn't marginalize his potential in his second season at 20 yr old. I rather see his month splist (especailly in Feb.) if he shows better output in his p&r, iso etc and project his ceiling as ball handler. I mean, it's fine to say BI is a a lot better off ball player than he is on the ball b/c it's a fact. But its not fair to totally disregard what he showed as what essentially was a legit main ball handler/PG for pretty solid stretch. I believe BI showed his potential as very good secondary ball handler/play maker with multiple skills as off the ball player in between. I don't see him as Durant 2.0, I don't see him as main ball handler/#1 option for contender. but he showed he can be much much more than strictly off the ball/3 & D as well.
You of all people should understand strength, potential and its maintainability(fixablity of weakness as well) should be the focus of analysis when it comes to evaluate 19, 20, 21 year old. As a long time supporter of JR, I have actually apprecaited your long documented optimism on JR's potential/performance, even though it seems overboard at times. Just be consistent with other players as well. |

Well, you don’t know folks around here. Let’s just say if you mention Nonas Salk, Abraham Lincoln, and Sully, folks around here will answer, “yeah, but they aint no Ingram. _________________ “We must always take sides. I think he demonstrated he can do a little more than that.. Clearly he played pretty well at the 1 for a stretch before he was injured.
With a young developing player I don't believe in the "he's good at ___ so he should only be doing ___" mentality. |
