I doubt Popovich is back next year, I think he is going to call it quits, so who cares what he thinks. Spurs look horrible and their run is over, they stand no chance at contending in the forseable future |

The Spurs care what he thinks, even if he retires as head coach he will likely remain President. Interesting that Budenhozer removed his name from consideration as Suns head coach. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

We don't even know the true extent of Kwame Leonard's injury. Chronic tendinopathy in a player his age is rare, but it can also progress and get worse over time. It has to be addressed properly and sometimes, even the best medical staff can't get it correct, as there are many underlying factors that can cause it. For example, one of the Spurs trainers confirmed for me on twitter that it can be antibiotic induced, as there is sufficient medical literature on it. Along with proper rehab and therapy, it would take a functional, integrative approach to resolve the issue. |

I think Kawhi is bostons guy.
Brown
Tatum
+ picks
It works for them to give up their youth because they have 2 allstars in irving and gordon which makes them contenders for the next 5 years
Irving
Hayward
Kawhi
Morris
Hoford
However if Spurs want they can get this
Ball + Ingram + Deng I would do it.
PG.Hart
SG.Kawhi
SF.Lebron
PF.Kuzma
C.Randle |

No way the Spurs get both the Lakers won't allow it. Also the Spurs already have a young guard in Murray, and Pop won't deal with LaVar. So no need for Ball.

Sign and trade FAs Randle AND Lopez (at ~$16-18M each) along with picks + fillers to acquire Kawhi and Pau from SA. They would probably insist on including Kuzma in any deal, in which case we would want to include Kyle Anderson. Obviously, we’d extend Kawhi with the super max after next season while preserving some cap flexibility with Pau’s expiring deal. (If we pick up Pau’s option in 2019, we could then target Anthony Davis in the summer of ‘20 when Deng’s contract also expires.) Assuming LeBron signs with LA (+ fillers like Seth Curry, Mo Speights):
2018-2020
Ball/Curry/Caruso
Leonard/Hart
Ingram/Anderson
James/Speights/Deng
Gasol/Zubac/Frye/Bryant
2020-
Ball-Leonard-Ingram-James-Davis 👀 |
Not possible. |

The four best Kawhi Leonard trades we'd like to see
Quote: | The season is over for the San Antonio Spurs, and plenty of questions surround their All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard.
The Spurs can offer him a supermax contract this summer, but if San Antonio doesn't feel comfortable committing $219 million to a player who appeared in only nine games this season, or Leonard indicates he won't sign it, trade discussions will likely heat up. |

I read that. But if worse comes worse. I think pop. Would rather trade kawhii to clippers for 2 number 1 draft picks and Tobias Harris.
If that goes down. That would really piss me off. Not only because pop is bitter about the rivalry. But because magic didn’t get jerry west when he had the chance |

Pop is obviously intending to trade Kawhi to the Lakers and is just using negotiating tactics. |

since KL can possibly pull a Dwight Howard I say we just offer Deng, Ingram and Cleveland first round pick and Lakers 2019 first round pick. take it or leave it.
Sign PG13 and Randle in off season
Leonard SF
Randle PF
Lopez Center
PG13 Guard
Lonzo PG
Bench
Hart
IT
Kuzma
that's a playoff team |
