MY man:

For anyone over the age of 25, do you agree the discussion about Lebron vs MJ is premature or has Lebron already superceded Kobe's impact on the game?

From a Kobe/Lakers hater, that is quite surprising.

I'm really salty they never implemented the 1v1 competition during all star weekend. Imagine getting to watch this non stop

Yeah, especially when he just said last week that Harden is a better scorer than Kobe

I’m convinced that every once in a while, Barkley throws a dart at a wall full of topics and whatever it lands on is what he says that day.

An imaginary schoolyard choose-up is the only scenario in which a Kobe/LeBron preference might matter, and even then, it doesn't matter. With either guy, you have an unstoppable two-way force of the highest order.

Because he is better on both ends of the court and significantly more efficient with the ball.
Some of these games Lebron has had just in this postseason ( 15 years in ), nobody is capable of matching those performances.

LeBron is not “better on both ends of the court” than Kobe.

LeBron has probably done enough to move past Kobe. But I don't think he's done enough to move past Magic, Kareem or Russell -- at least not yet. I have him just below them, in the same group as Wilt and Bird.

MJ

Kareem
Russell
Magic

Wilt
LeBron
Bird

Duncan
Shaq
Kobe

Hakeem
Oscar

Well he's a big LeBron hater too. I don't think there is any player he likes.
