I've ordered 3 times from it. Two times I got exactly what I ordered in reasonable time. One time, I ordered a veggie bowl with chicken and steak from waba grill, and I got a veggie bowl (no meat, like wtf) and it took 1.5 hours.

I like the service. I want it to continue. That's why I always tip the drivers so they don't become discouraged and quit. We need them to continue to deliver.

Haven't used it - or any of these services for that matter - but how does it compare to PostMates and UberEats?

I have used it several times with mixed results.

Love the idea, but executing it is tough and honestly it is expensive if you are only ordering for one or two people.

We're partnered with pretty much every delivery service out there. UberEats is usually the most efficient...their drivers arrive shortly after we have our orders finished. Postmates is close to UberEats. Grubhub is the worse. According to their drivers, can see where the delivery is going to (other services don't) and opt not to take an order if it's out of their way. I had an order take 2 hours for Grubhub to finally send a guy. Apparently, 14 other drivers declined to take the order.

Also, if you guys have Amazon, they deliver as well. If you have a prime account, delivery is free if you hit a certain threshold (I want to say $35?). It's surprising how little marketing Amazon is doing with this as I want to say 100% of my customers don't realize they deliver food too until I mention it to him.

UberEats > Door Dash. DoorDash has the best selection, but takes so much longer.

Very interesting. I didn't even consider ubereats. A friend used doordash one time and it worked out well. Never thought of ubereats as an option. Don't know if I should make the switch?

From a restauraunt's perspective, Doordash is only better than Grubhub and I would put both at the bottom of the barrel as far as efficiency and expediency.

Uber Eats only for me. I've used them dozens of times. Only had one bad experience, and everyone from Uber to the restaurant involved was awesome in how they handled it.

I've basically tried almost every food delivery spot because for at least 3 months, I couldn't drive, let alone walk more than 50 steps.

Just go UberEats. If you're going DoorDash, you almost have to expect 1 hour to 1:30 delivery times, especially in regards to traffic. If you tip decently, they usually don't mess up your order, or better yet, leave the note on the app saying you want them to double check the order, or want light ice on a drink, something of that sort. They usually don't miss, but I'm in mid-OC.

Amazon Prime Now Restaurants seems to be doing well in the West LA area after a heavy marketing push a few years back. Delivery in the area used to be free at the $35 threshold, but now the delivery fee is anywhere from $1.99 to $6.99+ no matter how much you order ($10 minimum to start). When it was free, delivery times got to a point where it could take up to 2hrs, so they added the fees and those wait times came down fast. The selection of restaurants isn't what it used to be, a number of them would drop out of Amazon's program but stay on with UberEATS or others.

I used to use ubereats whenever they emailed me a free delivery code. I unsubscribed from their emails but I had no issues with them. Just not worth the fee. Guess I'm cheaper than I am lazy.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

Door Dash is cool. When you sign up, you get a coupon code for 2 free deliveries $3.99 value. They also have certain restaurants that sometimes waive or reduce the delivery fee.

Office park across from John Wayne. There are lots of food options but sometimes I want some from Tustin or NB and don't feel like driving all the way out there.

Oh interesting. San Jose and OC are similar. Thought maybe its a service used more by those who live in the city but guess not.

Maybe I’ll try it out one of these days

What's the best service in terms of price/selection/speed? I only used Grub Hub for the first couple times recently whilst moving so I could box up all my kitchenware. A hamburger and fries from Denny's/Lenny's never cost so dear, but I didn't put a lot of thot into what service was optimal. I started using Instacart for groceries since about Dec. Felt like a lazy mope initially, but after the first time of not having to walk around Staters or Albertsons, I don't care if they charge my left ball for delivery. I'm never going back into the sh.

Per Johny B. Grubhub is the worst. Figures I picked the worst right off the bat. I'm like Jim Buss at picking things.
