Here are the odds for 10th spot.

#1 pick = 3%
#2 pick = 3.3%
#3 = 3.6%
#4 = 4%
#5 = 0%
#10 = 65.9%

Where'd you get your numbers?
How would we get the 4th pick?

We won't get it. The pick goes to Boston if it falls between 2-5.

I believe the Lakers can only possibly get #1-3 as those are the only draws in the lottery, otherwise it goes by losses. Either they move up to the top 3 or 10, 11, 12.....they can move down if a team higher than them moves into top 3.

LOL, the Suns get the shaft again. Milwaukee's pick is drawn at 17 and, thus, the Bucks get to keep it. It's quite possible that it won't convey again next year, too.

You’re about 30% short on the #10/#11 odds.

All those odds are way off.

Actual odds are:
#1 pick = 1.1%
#2 pick = 1.3%
#3 pick= 1.6%
#10 pick = 87%
#11 pick = 9%

96% chance it goes to Philly at 10 or 11.

I hope our pick helps Philly to crush the Celts year after year in the playoffs. (bleep) Boston.

Bumping thread for lotto day:

Teams I don't want to see jump- Lakers and Cavs.

Lakers sending 10th pick to Philly is a huge win vs what could have happened over the last few years.

Don't want to see the Cavs gain any value on their Nets pick, and don't want them winning any more lottos- ever.

Hoping for Sac or Memphis to get two of the top 3 picks, and for one of them to win the lotto.

Boston has Sac's pick (unprotected) next year. Doncic could help them immediately. Would like to see Sac pick be a mid-late lotto pick next year.

Boston has Memphis pick (protected Top 8 next year and Top 6 in 2020, unprotected in 2021). Adding Doncic to Conley and Gasol would help them be on the playoff bubble. Better for Danny Boy to get a late lotto pick from Memphis next year than get their unprotected pick in 2021, when they could easily be in major rebuild mode.

PS- Don't want to see Clips jump either. No explanation needed.

Cheering for Philly over Boston is like cheering for John Wayne Gacy over Jeffrey Dalmer... No exaggeration. Okay, maybe just a little...

If that can be translated to not caring what happens with the pick, I agree.

Im expecting the great draft luck to continue and this pick will fall outside of the top 10. Someone at the bottom will get lucky.

Priority #1- Don't want to see the Celtics add more assets this year.

Priority #2- Want to see their future assets diminished.

Priority #3- See #1 and #2.

The two things we need to avoid: our pick jumping into the Top 3 for Philly or Boston, and the Brooklyn pick jumping into the Top 3 for the Cavs. We'll know by the #8 reveal.

let's hope the chaos doesn't involve our pick otherwise every single fan is going to be on these boards crying about about we missed on Ayton/Doncic/Bamba

I have zero concerns about them. They can draft the second coming of Wilt Chamberlain with Steph Curry 3 pointer and they will still suck.

Why do I get the feeling that Cleveland is going to beat the odds with that Brooklyn pick and get the #1 pick?

Then they package the #1 pick + other stuff for Kawhi.

I didn't even realize tonight was the lottery. Time flies when you don't care about the results. Last couple of seasons I always dreaded the wait till this day.

We kept our pick all these other years. It's all good. Last year I think we had less than a 50% chance or something ridiculous
