Yes it did. Dlo was the price to trade Moz. And we’ll have to trade future young assets to get rid of Deng.

Again, that wasn’t the road we were on. You couldn’t be more wrong.

Road to hell.

Not a fan of developing our young players?

We were on the wrong side of the road going 100.
He couldn’t be more right.

Another poster who isn’t a fan of developing our young players. Would you rather trade them all?

We still have Lonzo/bi/Kuz/Hart/Bryant/Zubac/2018 picks and maybe Jules. Not enough young players for you?

In order of keep to trade (although I'm not the poster who isn't a fan of developing our players but IMO:

Ingram-Ball-Randle-Kuzma-Hart-Bryant-Zubac

I'm highest on Ingram and lowest on Zu

and I switch back and forth on Randle/Kuzma depending on the vibes

And to date the ones we got rid of are average to bad. Where is all this we hate young players coming from?

Total nonsense

Depends on where they end up and how you define "better".

more team wins or statistical comparison?

DeMarcus Cousins unfollowed Pelicans on Instagram because he's 'Grown'

New Orleans Pelicans superstar DeMarcus Cousins is a free agent this offseason. His social media interactions tonight are worth mentioning.

The big man was asked by a fan why he unfollowed his team on Instagram. Cousins replied, explaining he made the decision because he is “grown” – he has made no comment yet but it’s safe to assume he was not hacked.

This may seem like a petty thing to speculate about and some folks may read too deep into the tea leaves. But it is also worth considering why he would not only make this choice but also double down with a second comment.

It’s a surprising update considering just last month The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor cited “feedback from league executives” stating that Cousins seemed happy with the organization.

All it takes is one meeting informing you that you are no longer a max player.

I would put my money on Cousins but then he should be because he might be paid twice what Brook is paid.

I doubt we trade Deng, we will probably suck that contract up, stretch him but doubt we throw kids into the mix UNLESS we are in the middle of getting an all star and that results in a short cut to achieving the final outcome...

We'll see....

If Brook is willing to take a deep cut to stay at home... then he could be a bargain... but if he wants full market value, I don't think it will be much different.

Only mentioning it because it seems most here want Brook back, but few would even consider Boogie.

That’s one of the dumbest things I have read a agent say... the Lakers will choose LeBron over Kawhi 10 out of 10 times every day.

Most people want Brook back on a room exception deal if we hit a home run or a FMV 1 year deal to punt cap space. Completely different from dumping 30 mill down the drain on a multi year deal for Cousins.

So it's not whether LeBron chooses us is whether we choose him or Kawhi. Am I reading this right?

If we are keeping Randle, we must have a stretch 5 otherwise his effectiveness will be greatly diminished.

At this point we are only praying Brook accepts such a poor deal.

If he does, we should be thanking our lucky stars... but I certainly wouldn't count on it yet as we've only heard rumors.

This is illogical. LeBron would have to be the one who turns them down, not the other way around.

I'm okay with not getting Lebron as long as we sign PG at the very least. Save 1 max slot for 2019 and develop young players. Hopefully have a shot at KL.
