“So you were holding Shaq and Kobe STILL missed?!”

I’m one of those people who gets annoyed when fans loosely accuse so and so of being a “Laker hater”, but Broussard is one of the few who’s a very obvious Kobe/Laker hater. I usually avoid anything that involves his takes.

Gotta hand it to PJ. After the fracas in Chicago, you can clearly see him telling the refs “and that’s why it’s your fault!”

I laughed way too hard at Horry dragging Austin Croshere on the ground by his jersey at the 2:20 mark of the 2nd link.

Man, basketball was so different before the millennial generation.

Let me guess, back in your day before the three-point shot and when apples only cost a nickel, you broke a rib every time you went to the rim and someone always got a bloody nose because the fights were real? That about cover it?

lol, that's quite a response to something that is basically just true.

nba changed its ways drastically regarding aggressiveness etc after the malice. so thats not that long ago.
the 3pt shot was still kind of new in the 80s, and only in the last 5 years did people shoot it this much.
fights were pretty serious before the malice. the scuffles you see now are very very minor in comparison. but that is deliberate, nba definitely does not want malice to happen again.

Sounds like what you're describing is a result of the NBA changing it's rules then. Has nothing to do with millennials. It's just a huge eyeroll whenever I hear geezers go down their condescending, ’back in my day’ rants to put the younger generation down.

Anyone who watches one episode of Inside the NBA knows that Shaq cannot take a joke.

Makes complete sense he was the one to swing first.

Not saying Kobe was in the right either, but it gets so tiring hearing people try to spin it like Kobe just couldn’t get along smh

Doesnt surprise me.

Shaq always had the emotional maturity of a teenager.

He always came across as insecure to me.
