Can they go over the cap to re-sign KD?

wonder if KD and LBJ will think about teaming up, Durant seems so self concise about everyone saying he went to a ready made team, so he might wanna go to a team thats not built yet, *Magic Johnson wink *

(bleep) Simmons and the Celtics. I want this Lebron/George/Randle off-season, and I want Simmons to choke on his bile on his free agency podcast in two months. I want Magic to take his victory lap on every damn ESPN segment available and I want the league to be put back on notice that the Los Angeles Lakers are coming to (bleep) their (bleep) up.

Plus 1000.

Cigar-smoking, whiskey-drinking BVH is my favorite BVH!!!

If GS loses, I think have a 1% chance of getting KD. Add either LBJ or George and I am happy.

If we land LeBron, we're going to need to add some spot up shooters. Given that we'll need to fill at least 4 minimum salaries IIRC, who should we target first as shooters off the bench willing to play for peanuts?

Some candidates off the top of my head:
Channing Frye
Travis Wear (2-way?)
Marco Belinelli
Joe Harris
Gerald Green
Joe Johnson
Luke Babbitt
Mo Speights
Jose Calderon

The good thing about GSW struggling in the WCF (and potentially losing) is that it makes them look mortal. That might cheer up LeBron/PG other about forming a new super friends in the West, and we're obviously the ones better positioned for that.

I think Green and Belinelli wouldn't leave their current teams, they arrived mid season and are now important parts of their teams.

Iso Joe looks finished, so does Calderon. Frye is a great locker room guy, is already with us, buddies with LeBron and showed he can hit the ocasional 3. He could stay for a very limited role.

The others are not really exciting tbh, but not a lof of options either. Jamal Crawford is out there, but he played poorly this year and is nearing 40.

Replace PJ Tucker or Ariza with LeBron... juggernaut to super juggernaut. Of course they’ll move earth to be able to sign LeBron

Didn’t think about that but it makes sense.

I'll give you of an example The Houston Astros they won the world series and they added Garrett Cole to their rotation thus why have the best ERA in baseball right now. I don't know what's in the water in Houston, but we all that even The Rockets win the championship they might not stand pat.

True. But they're so easy to guard when you switch everything. Making Thompson a driver has looked bad.

Thompson being injured has helped.

I am sure that KD would welcome Lebron to the Warriors

Good point. LeBron operate in the high, low post majority of the time nowadays, and we do know how much Dantoni hates low up game.

Simmons and Lowe are both Boston-born hacks. What dumb moves like this has the FO made since Magic / Pelinka took over? Now if Jim and Mitch were at the helm, yes I'd worry about this. But there's no way the current FO is colossally stupid enough to deal for Russ.

I think it would make the Rockets worse.

Too many ISO players without great spacing and less defense.

I only want Joe Harris here. Maybe Travis Wear.

Lonzo Ball, Luol Deng and a draft pick for Damian Lillard.
