Lonzo's injuries = Lakers trainers

If what Lavar said had no impact on Lonzo, I agree, who gives a (bleep) what Lavar thinks.
However, you have to wonder if this excusing mongering is one of the reasons Lonzo is soft and even a bit mentally weak. |
Except not all of us think Lonzo is soft or mentally weak. So there's that. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

Just plain wrong. Just because he doesn't understand modern training techniques doesn't mean they are bad or wrong.
And it's not as if Lonzo's training so far has made him especially strong - and definitely not strong enough to compete with grown men in the NBA. Lavar needs to let go. |

Resistance bands are great for stabilizer muscles while weights are great for pure power.
Both have their place: weights while making you stronger tend to shorten the muscle so things like yoga and band work are good for lengthing and make you more felxable.
Iron and bands are only different items in the toolbox
I personally think some meditation from Phil Jackson and training from a left eye dominate shooting coach could help Ball more so than the Iron can.

I'am sure Lavar is a great man and a great dad.
But publicly he's awful and shoudn't be taken seriously. He's pretty easy to ignore as a basketball fan too. |

So are there any legit reports on the actual numbers for BBB? I can't imagine it sells well which would mean Zo is missing out on being the face of the Lakers. |

I'm tempted to create a word filter on this site that changes "Lavar Ball" to "Lonzo's Dad." He is TMZ fodder, no better than a Kardashian. I watch sports so I dont have to acknowledge celebrity culture and really wish posters would stop bringing that into the lounge. Last I checked, it was Lonzo Ball, not Lavar Ball, who is a laker. We should focus on the former, not the latter. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Sometimes I have this theory that Lonzo uses Lavar as his mouthpiece. I wouldn't be surprised if he complained to his dad in private and then Lavar uses his voice to express his concerns.

Lonzo has never publicly supported his father's statements since becoming a laker. In fact, the opposite is true... he has said his dad just talks and that's how he has always been. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Whatever it takes to get Lonzo to play more games, I support that.
Between DLO and Lonzo, I'm tired of seeing our young PGs on the sideline. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

No, but the latter does make the former less likely to be true. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Sadly, I have a feeling Zo might always be a beta to his alpha dog father. I would be shocked, but very pleased, if the day comes when Zo speaks out against his him publicly. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

With DLO I'd get mad because we would have to lower his minutes after injures due to his knees and he'd come back slower/less athletic.
With Lonzo whenever he's ready to play, he's able to go hard for 30+ minutes. It's just the amount of games he misses that's frustrating, DLO's situation was alot more frustrating to keep up with |

I'd prefer that Zo never talk about his dad, other than to laugh off questions about his dad presented to him. Also, a loud voice isn't necessarily a strong one. Often, the opposite is true. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

I'm kinda surprised that Djounte Murray, Oladipo, and jrue all got on the all defensive NBA list above Zo TBH... _________________ We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. |

I really don’t care what Lavar says, but my major concern is Lonzo improving next season...because every time I watch Tatum play I get really sick. Right now we are in DLO mode w/Lonzo. Can his ability catch up to his hype. Magic/Pelinka gotta be feeling a little sick to...if Pelinka was still an agent ain’t no way he’s picking Ball over Tatum. That young man gotta lot of Kobe in him. |
