How can a laker fan not hate the Celtics? |
I’m only 29. They’ve been largely irrelevant during my viewership. 08 was no different to me than any other finals loss. I understand the history but it didn’t affect me emotionally having not witnessed it therefor I’m uninvested and I can’t hate something just because everyone else does.

I definitely want to see LeBron in the finals. Not only does it mean no Boston, but it also means that Golden State, the super team, will beat him again. That should cause him to want to create his own super team...

| Another reason to vote for the Cavs is just to watch Lebron take over. Gotta appreciate that level of talent while it is still around. Like him or not, we are “witnesses” to Greatness. |

| I wasn't around the 80s to see the Lakers and Celtics literally want to kill each other on the court. But Boston has more chips than us and that's enough to have me root against them. It also doesn't help their fans are annoying af but I think this is true for any east coast fanbase. |

Sorry...no offense, but that's a bad excuse. To be a true Laker fan, you need embrace their history, even though you didn't witness it.
I wasn't alive when the Yankees kept beating the Dodgers in the World Series, but I still hate the Yanks with a passion because of it. |

Just go to an Irish pub with your Laker gear on during the playoffs next year. You’ll hate the Celtics pretty quickly once you get exposed to their jackass chowderhead fans. |
