In case you missed it the odds came out right after the game last night. Lakers are now favorites over the 76ers. I am surprised at how much the Rockets had fallen. I am not overly confident but I would say I am somewhat confident.
Quote: | LeBron’s team next season?
[shopped odds via @betonline_ag and @BetDSI]
Lakers +200
76ers +450
Knicks +750
Rockets 10/1
Spurs 20/1
Clippers 20/1
Cavs 30/1
Heat 33/1
Warriors 50/1
Celtics 50/1
Bulls 75/1
OKC 75/1
Wizards 100/1
Any other team 100/1 |

Very. It's the most logical destination from a basketball, business, and likely family perspective, IMO. |

I think it all depends if the Lakers can land a third all star, while keeping as many of the young guys as feasible |

Nope, not coming at all. Last time someone asked, I said Karl Malone wasn't coming. |

I'm pretty damn confident. Guys like Kuzma and Ball would be monsters playing with LeBron. BI might end up being shipped out for a more developed all-star though. |

If were betting I would put $100 with the odds payout. Nothing more. Lol |

No. Bron doesn't want to wait for their young guys to mature.

Yeah, I can definitely see Lebron trying to recapture that Miami formula and picking a team who can pair him with two other established All-Stars. I wonder if our FO is willing to lose BI to do that, since he probably has the most market value out of our young talent? If we lose young talent to get one of his banana boat buddies, I'd be pissed. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Makes me glad Jim Buss isn't around anymore. Jimbo might've been the kind of guy to cave in and trade BI or Ball with one of Lebron's banana boat buddies.
I'd like to think Magic and Rob have much more posture than that. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Would you be excited if he does? I have noticed you don’t seem all that intrigued by the idea of the Lakers getting LeBron. |

I joke about LeBron a lot but of course I'd be excited if he signed with us. |
