Horse Racing .....

Secretariat 2:24 Belmont Stakes (Justify 2:28) ... Secretariat would’ve been 24 horse lengths ahead

After the 3/4 turn God whispered in Secretariat’s ear and said “run”

I mean, come on. Triple Crown domination today!

(Good job by his stablemate today running as wingman for a good chunk of the race today.)

Per the topic: Secretariat is the GOAT.

Good job...his home track is Santa Anita so I wouldn't be surprised if he has a victory lap and a day for himself. They did it for American Pharoah after he won the Triple Crown.

Gronkowski was FLYING for the final 45 seconds or so of that race, maybe a little bit longer. He got such a lousy break from the gate and was way, way back. It reminded me of Zenyatta's final race, which, ironically, had Mike Smith aboard. Except that this time, I think that Justify had enough juice to hold off the hard-rushing challenger. Blame was out of gas and Zenyatta just needed another two strides to win that race.

I'm still heartbroken over Zenyatta losing that race. Go YouTube that race and if you're a Zenyatta fan like I was, it still peeves me that Mike Smith waited way too long to get Zenyatta to move. She should've won that race and finished with an undefeated career, and then her mystique would've been something much more enduring than it will be.

Yes, I don't know how Zenyatta lost that race
